Cheaply made...not much travel of the plunger....but it has a metal mounting
I bought this one for the metal end, which is the weak spot on the original, plastic ends, where I am on cable #3.....did not like the short travel of the plunger....I haven’t tried to start the bike yet because it is a lot apart with an overdue major maintenance.....looking into the plunger housing through the hole in roof of the throttle bore the new plunger would not seat all the way in like the Harley original....fortunately the plungers interchanged and that issue was solved....I don’t like it that the cable pulls out all the way (maybe 3/4”) to “lock”.....meaning you are enriched...or not enriched.....grrrr.....thumbs down...using it for now

Needs a friction adjuster
I bought this to replace the broken choke on my Sportster 1200C (The plastic case broke when I over tightened the jam nut.) I was disappointed to see this choke seems to only have two settings, on or off.The original one has a friction collar that allows me to set the choke at any point I want. I only use enough to get the engine started and don't like to over rev it when it's cold.So for now, I zip tied the broken choke to the mounting bracket and will replace it when it becomes unusable.

Fit my Kipa Carb for Yama
The threaded attachment piece was easily removed and replaced with the one supplied with the KIPA carb I purchased for my Yama XV250. The mechanism has a nice click to the action which provides assurance of it not slipping into a partial engagement.

Coiled shipment
I never understood why vendors ship cable assy's coiled. This one has a metal spiral wrap in a rubberized sheathing. If the metal is kinked it will not go back to its original form. It should be shipped in its long state with no bends. This is my second one from a different vendor. It definitely has bend not pronounced but is usable. Waiting for UPS to get other parts so I can finish the installation. It does lock when extended so that is a good thing.

Dont buy this one...
Buy a more expensive one. This ones knob fell off, the clip to keep the choke engaged is too weak(disengages itself and engine dies before warm), it comes missing a nut to keep it secured. Have to return it now, not worth the 3 hours of labor putting this one on, taking it off, then putting on one that works.
