If you have used the Goop body brushes like this style you will be pleased and the bristles are slightly softer in case that is preferable for you. I was happily surprised that the bristles were more gentle. They have a base of the bristles that seems to be made of plastic whereas the one from Goop is purely wood and natural bristles only in case that makes a difference for you. I absolutely love that these brushes are portable but also have the handle at an angle to get every part of the body without throwing you back out or shoulder out of alignment ☺️🤣🙏🏻 I highly recommend!!

I like this brush and think it is just fine for it's intended purpose. I got it to try out dry brushing. Some people are saying that it's not a real brush for dry brushing, but I guess I wouldn't know for sure, (because this is my first time trying it) but I like it for me just fine. If the bristles were any stiffer, I think it would hurt too much. I feel like this brush's bristles are plenty "coarse" enough. I don't have any medical issues that I need to dry brush for, I just wanted to give it a shot to reap the benefits. I do have some dry skin that I thought maybe it would help with too. I watched a You Tube video with experienced people talking about dry brushing, it's many benefits and the correct way to do it. They said you could get a dry brush that would work most anywhere. And I saw this same brush recommended from a person that also uses essential oils in combination with her dry brushing. I use essential oils too and use them after dry brushing with this brush. I've only used this brush a handful of times so far, but I like how it feels. If you're going to dry brush, I think you'll need to get used to the sensation and I believe this is a great brush to start with. If you're an experienced dry brusher, maybe you could upgrade later if you wanted, but I don't see myself needing any rougher bristles than this brush provides. The first couple of times I used this brush, a few bristles fell out, but that was it. They did not continue to fall out for me (at least not yet). The contour on this brush is nice too. It's easy to handle. Some brushes have long handles on them, but I don't see the need. If that was your preference, that's fine, but I can reach everywhere I need to on my body with this brush just fine. I'm average weight & height though, if that matters. I also like that you can hang this brush, though I don't currently have a hook to hang it on. I don't use this brush in the shower, I use it just before, as I've heard this is the proper way to do it with dry brushing. So I can't speak to how it may hold up when wet, as mine stays dry. What a great idea! It functions as designed. I was concerned because my skin is fragile due to chemotherapy. But I had so much dead skin, I was like a walking snowflake. This brush is tough enough to remove the dead skin but gentle enough that it doesn’t tear delicate skin. (Now if only they could make one for toes.)

I like the natural bristle and the handle is very nice and comfortable to hold. Exfoliation is what I like to use this brush for in the shower.

I got more than I expected from this brush! I’m using it primarily for dry brushing. I wanted to use it to help detox during a juice fast. Being a newbie I didn’t know what to expect. I had a bad fall last week so I've been out of commission & in severe pain in my back. I used it the first time for just a quick session & mobility returned, pain immediately dissipated, & I could feel blood flow all around! I’m sold. I’m sure it’s great for other uses, but it’s excellent as a dry brush for the lymph system. I like the length of the handle & the angle is very ergonomic. The bristles are just right. Not too stiff or too soft. It seems like it’s going to hold up for years. Bristles are firmly secured. Sure can’t beat the price especially for a high quality natural bristle brush. I don’t usually do reviews, but I had to on this product. I’m sharing on Facebook & raving to all my friends & family. This brush was a godsend to heal my body & relieve my pain. I should be running around again in no time!

I originally purchased this brush with the plan to use as a travel back brush. I was hugely surprised to find that this little brush works terrific for cleaning dirt off my feet after walking barefoot. It provides a nice, pampered feeling similar to the feeling of salon pedicure brushes.

I have osteoarthritis in my shoulder and find this is an excellent help in extending my reach. I also have a long one for full back

Perfect for either dry brushing or shower. No so stiff and hard that you can't tolerate it and not so soft that it doesn't exfoliate well. Perfect!
