3 very good features: 1 - The pen tip comes through the stylus when extended for writing. When retracted the stylus works great. 2 - The pen light has its own slide switch on the side of the pen. The writing pen is retractable and also has its clicker on the side of the pen. Both slide controls are easy to use. 3 - Considering the cost of $2 dollars a pen, the construction of these items is really good.In addition, the penlight is good with the included batteries, The pen feels good in the hand and writes nicely.

The stylus works great. I don’t have touch the screen more than once and I don’t to press down the stylus on the screen. It’s a very good pen also.

Worth the price but the slide switch for the LED pen tip light could be improved. It works but not as reliably as you would like. Still I’ll order the product again.

Pros: These pens write smoothly, on many surfaces, and without skipping. They aren't large, awkward, or heavy. I can clip one onto my scrub top or pants and it doesn't flip over and come off when I move like heavier pens. The light is bright enough to read EKG tracings in bad light, perform tasks without waking patients, and for pupil checks. You have a separate switch for the light so no rapid clicking to get to the light function. Cons: The batteries for the light didn't last long, but I don't know if they may have been old and I've not replaced them. There isn't a lot of ink in the pens, but if just using it for work where you mostly use eCharting it should last a few months. **The seller kindly sent me several refills for free and future refills are reasonably priced.

I like this stylus, but only because it's flaws are easily remedied.1) The clip will break off if you use it much or clip it to something too thick. If you reinforce it with a couple of tiny drops of glue (UV resin works great) that issue is corrected.2) The rubber tip is fragile and wont hold up (I am pretty hard on mine and use it constantly). If you pry the collar off and replace the rubber tip with an 8mm mesh fiber tip it works much better and holds up indefinitely. The pen can be pushed through the mesh tip so the pen is still usable.The pen isn't the best as it doesn't hold a lot of ink, but for occasional use it's OK.I *really* like the flashlight and use it every time I turn around.This stylus is the best one I've tried (and I've tried several) after modifying it.If you're not handy and use it a lot you may not be happy.

As a ER/Trauma nurse I find the combination of having a pen and pen light super convenient. They are helpful for so much more than just neuro checks! The light is bright, and you can check on your patient at night without ever turning a overhead light on. I've purchased so many of these because I end up giving them to other nurses and doctors because they all love them too!! Highly recommend! The ink lasts a long time too, plus you do get ink refills. I know most charting is on the computer but some of us still have to do paper charting.
