great addition to the Halloween home haunt
This is my first time using a webcaster so I don't have any other experience to compare it with but I'm impressed. The pictures don't do it justice. It heats up really fast and it's pretty simple to set up. I have the Shop-vac All around Plus 4.5 HP 4 gallon vacuum that I used. It is plenty enough power. I used the webcaster brand glue sticks that I bought on Amazon. They do glow really well under a black light as you can see in the pictures too. I only used one stick to just test it out to see how it works but I think i can get better results by doing what they suggest and using some thread or fishing line as a base to get it started and give it something to build up on. With one stick I was able to cover an area about 2x2 feet or so. After some practice I think l be able to cover a large area though. Good price for some pretty cool spider web effects 👌

Fantastic product!
I was afraid after some of the reviews but decided to give it a shot. Had no issues. Hooked it up to the shop vac and it did fantastic. Used regular glue sticks and the "webs" shimmered in the sunlight. Sprayed them with glow in the dark spray paint and it looked awesome when the sun went down. You definitely need to stand back at least four feet to get good coverage. I have a twenty five foot rope web and covered it in webbing from my caster with about two extra long sticks. Even got the "cemetery". The kids love the effect!

The idea was good and when it works it does an OK job ...
The idea was good and when it works it does an OK job however it does not like to work at all. The first stick melted through nicely then everyone after that I had to clean the nozzle wait for the gun to heat back up fight with the trigger then when I finally got it operating again I had to wait for the gun to heat back up this one on for two hours before I gave up. To be honest it is a very simple idea and if you buy a good quality Glue gun to start with you will be much better off. This tool falls far short of My expectation. Also I wouldn’t recommend using indoors the webs are difficult to see and unlike the videos they are extremely difficult to get off things I wish I stop sooner because my walls pictures candles are completely covered in glue that does not want to wipe off I’m gonna spend days cleaning up after this. I think you’d be better off Manipulating and spending the time working with the stretching place webbing

Fun!
I'm an older man who has decorated my yard for Halloween for many years.(about 30 years) I have always had trouble keeping my bagged webs looking decent for any length of time. I bought this with very little hope of it working any better than packaged webs. It's not often I'm truly impressed with gimmicky stuff but I'm glad to say I was very wrong! If you're patient it works terrific! The down side is it really does eat glue sticks like crazy. Also Do Not get the glow in the dark sticks, there not the correct size and plugged up the gun every single time! But make sure it's HOT before starting and take your time. Pictures above are all man-made.

Give your Halloween that little bit extra
This is a must if your doing any halloween decorations. It adds that extra little wow factor. I made my own a while back and it worked well but required and air compressor. This one that uses a shop vac is great. Doesn't quite have the oomph that the compressed air one does but it gets the job done.

Not to bad but needs improvment
So back in the day (way back) I used to make webs the older and very messy way with a drill and the fan blade type unit. So I was pleased to find a newer tool for making this effect easier and cleaner. After checking this out a bit I decided to give it a try. It did take a loooong time to get, but once it arrived it was so happy. I didn't have any issues hooking it up to my shop vac once I got a 2" to 1.25" hose adaptor, has no issues and has enough power to project the webbing far. I used regular low/high melt glue sticks and started by webbing up some small Halloween props and it worked great! So I figured what the heck now time to do some real webbing. I was a little disappointed with the performance of this unit on a larger scale. The glue gun itself is far under powered to do things on a bigger scale. I found myself waiting for this unit to come back up to temp to spray out a good stream of webbing and thus taking a loooong time to make some good sized webs. So I made my own device using a much larger glue gun and I was able to spray webbing at a constant rate without stopping. This unit would be perfect it the glue gun was an 80 watt unit instead of a measly 25 watt unit.

Makes great looking cobwebs.
This brought my outdoor decorating for Halloween to the next level. There is a learning curve to this, but once I got the hang of it, the gun worked just as I'd hoped. I will say that I was afraid of how this would clean up when the holiday was over so I only used it outdoors.

Like the whole concept thought
Buy the original webmaster and get an air compressor. Using air from another source is just not strong enough. Like the whole concept thought.
