Surprised after 1 year
Ordered 2 roots. Got them today. Both dried up, and not one pip in sight. I already got my planting site ready for peony, so went to Walmart garden center, and bought a peony there, healthy and full of pips. Disappointed in this Amazon purchase.Update: 4/2017--so the dried up root produced 1 plant. 2nd one never came up. The plant is very small, and single shoot, appeared this spring, even though there was no signs of life last spring :-) Walmart's plant looks like it will make some flowers next spring. Updated Amazon's peony from 1 star to 2.
