!!!!WORMS COMING OUT OF THE SARDINE TINS!!!!
Upon opening the box, I discovered to my horror, the Sardine tins had WORMS SWIMMING OUT OF THE TINS! See the photo below. There is a NO-RETURN POLICY/ NO REFUND. So all I can do is warn others... DO NOT BUY FROM "Gourmet Foods!!!!! It is not easy to make a human being to human being complaint with Amazon, but all I can hope for is at the least, they remove this Seller, GOURMET FOODS, from their list!!!! See the photo below, those little white things in the packaging are LIVE WORMS! Jo

Suspicious packaging – No manufacturing date found !
I recently bought John West sardines for the first time & it delivered by 12/10/2025, but I noticed that the can doesn’t mention any manufacturing date anywhere on the label. But they mentioned just expire date & I tried checking the bottom and sides too, but nothing was printed. It’s quite concerning because this is a food product, and such details are mandatory for consumer safety.

Faulty packaging- oil leaking everywhere
Poor packaging means fish oil leaked all over. And smells rotten already. I'm sad. I love this product usually. But who would eat from an open tin?
