The description above says it is electric and no light bulb required. Which is it?

This oven is electric and uses a warming unit that heats similar to a regular oven instead of the light bulb the older models used.

This is $65 to $70 max of individual product. How can such a high markup be justified simply for calling it a gift set?

It is a great product! My granddaughter and I have had many great baking dates with it. It is safe and very rewarding when you see the final product.

Do all of these mixes work with the included rectangular pan or do other pans need to be purchased for those?

Yes, the mixes work with that pan. Everything is on a very small scale. I did buy some other pans and an Easy Bake cookbook which gives you recipes to use your own ingredients, instead of constantly buying the expensive refills. I also bought her a miniature set of cooking utensils to go with it. So cute! My granddaughter loves it!
