Glidden Interior Paint + Primer: Brown/Allegro, One Coat, Flat, 1-Gallon

Well the good news was that I finally finished painting my front door. It was a pain because I couldn’t get it to cover very well, when I tried to put it on thicker it dripped, so I had to redo a lot of spots and was dreading going back with my dremel to sand down the drips I missed. But even better, when I removed the painters tape, the paint came along with it in long stretchy strips. So I tried using a razor blade to detach the paint from the tape before pulling off the tape but the paint just stretched along with the blade instead of cutting. And all of that gobbing on paint means I’ve also got splashes and drips to clean off the floor now. This was $41 a gallon paint, this should never have happened. Now I get to sand the whole thing, buy more paint, and do it for a 3rd time. Never buy Glidden paint!In case you’re wondering, this was a new, clean, primed door, so there’s really no excuse. I had better luck with 3+ year old rustoleum on the front of the door.

I judge paints usually when I put them on. Put this one on a few days ago, and was quite impressed on the cover quality and it seems like it adheres quite well. It really is a no prime paint, quite often that is just claimed and not the real of it. About the best I have used recently. Expect it will last long, but honestly that will take a year or two to find. Do intend to rebuy, this brand and type.

This was my first time using glidden. It was wonderful to work with. One coat even over white. I was worried the color would be too dark but I love it in my bedroom. Cozy and classy.

was leery when i bought this paint, but i love it. i painted my outside border wood and it came out beautiful. there was no heavy odor and the paint washed up with soap and water. i am really happy i purchased this paint and would recommend it. good product!

Perfect dark espresso colored paint. I used it to create a side board height with a wall paper side board effect. Many compliments. Brought my whole wall decorations together. Who knew Amazon would deliver a gallon of paint. A big thanks Amazon.

My 40+ garage door was badly battered by the sun. We thought one gallon wouldn't be enough, but it was and the door looks like new. Very pleased with this purchase.

Definitely NOT BROWN/FUDGE...more like dirty gold. One review said maple, but dont even think maple has all that gold in it. Have customer service call me. I am NOT going to be able to use this at all. Giving a little part painted to see if it drys to a brown..but dont think it will happen. Before I bought 3 cans, I bought one can on Sept. 9 and it was Brown/Fudge. Please call me.
