Austin AirHealthmate Replacement Filter, White – Zeolite, HEPA Air Filters for Home, and Carbon Filter Replacement for Superior Air Quality

This is a replacement filter straight from Austin Air Factory for the Austin Air Healthmate. Easy to install. I have had this Healthmate for years. It is simply the best in filtering out smells and pollens. Without it I would not breathe as easily. It is big.. my HP printer sits on top, so it is both a table and filter. The filter does last for years. Bought if second hand, had it for three years and decided to change the filter. Works purr-fectly.

I gave it one star because it had to be returned for a refund because it was a junior size filter and I needed the standard size. It was not advertised as junior size.

filter cartridge came within a time specified- 2-3 days from order placement. The reason for the two star is because of several reasons. 1. the rubber gasket is not where it should be. It is simply glued on and so I moved it into more of a circular shape. But the biggest reason for the critical rating is because in several places the cartridge looks like it was dropped and dented. While these are small and no one will see it, I know that it is not in "perfect" condition particularly after paying slightly over $200 for the item. All of these are cosmetic and it does not matter as long as it works as intended. I've turned on the filter and it seems to work just fine.

i just got on sale my third filter and last filter from this company for my 20 year old filter housing. next time i'll make sure to buy from hepaairdirect as their knock off filters are much heavier with filter media and far better made then this piece of crap.

The Austin HM400 I bought this filter for works very well. The filters are guaranteed for 5 years under normal conditions. Mine isn't used under normal conditions so it lasted about 2 years. This was a replacement for the original. Mine filters a lot of smoke and the filters won't last 5 years if they are used that way so I didn't call Austin for the rebate. The HM 400 is a fantastic house filter.

The replacement filter arrived quickly. I ordered this back in October and just replaced it today, 29 December. It was easy to install after watching a brief YouTube video. When the new filter arrived, I placed it (it was in a bag) in the closet and never inspected it. When I opened the bag containing the new filter I noticed it was dented in a few places. I don't think it will affect the performance but nonetheless, it's frustrating when you pay a few hundred dollars for a damaged product . I don't know if the damage occurred with the distributor or during transit. I recommend you inspect it immediately if you don't plan to install it right away.

Thanks Amazon! You guys make it so convenient to shop. I bought this actual filter five years ago from a brick and mortar store. Well worth the cost. This past year I noticed more dust than usual. So, of course I came online and found the filter replacement here. I have a healthmate plus Austin Air Filter, and this replacement fit perfectly! I got the white pre/outer filter this time instead of the black bc I like an obvious visual reminder of when it needs to be vacuumed. The internal filter color doesn't matter, bc you don't see it from the outside. Overall, yes this is an expensive purchase, but well worth it! Running great.

Would give zero stars if possible. An old used item was sent. Unsanitary and not to mention a complete waste of time and money.
