Oakland Living6029-AB Mississippi Cast Aluminum Service Cart, Antique Bronze

Way over priced. Definitely not worth the money. Shelves are small. Wheels are flimsy. Did ship fast. Can't be bothered returning.On top of it all, one month later I found it $72.00 cheaper. I told a family member what I paid for it and he said it definitely is notworth the price. I felt even worse.Sad on Long Island

I purchased this on a warehouse deal for about a third of the retail price because the shipping carton was damaged; and it was worth the heavily discounted price that I paid. I would not have been happy had I paid full price; this is NOT a $300+ cart. The workmanship is only fair. When attached, the sides of shelves all lean inward at an angle rather than being straight up and down as they should be. The notches in the shelves where the legs attach are sloppy and the pieces don't fit together very well. The cart itself is cast aluminum, but the handle is a wood dowel. The antique bronze finish is okay (though I will probably end up painting it to match the rest of my cast aluminum patio furniture). One positive note, the wheels that I received are painted black and do not stand out like the metal color wheels shown in the picture here.

The Good: As opposed to other reviewers, I found it easy to assemble - took less than an hour. It rolls beautifully and is very useful on our lanai and birdcage. And it looks great. The Bad: Although the structure is cast aluminum, the bolts are not and they rusted badly within the first month. I’m in the process of finding stainless steel replacements. It’s hard to believe they would make an outside product that is non-rusting then supply steel bolts that rust. What were they thinking? This an an add on edit. While replacing all of the rested bolts with stainless steel ones, I discovered that one weld had broken, one shelf support had split in half which in turn made the leg come lose. So now this is headed for tomorrow’s garbage pile. I believe this was a cheap ripoff of the one I saw elsewhere on line for much more money. I should have paid more to get more.

So pretty in the pictures but a wobbly mess in person. People complained about it being difficult to assemble. I found it quite easy. But it would not stay square. And it wanted to twist sort of like a segment of DNA. I bought this used in “very good” condition from Amazon warehouse. I was shocked at how it was packaged. They didn’t even bother to put the hardware in a Ziploc bag. It was literally just rolled into the bubble wrap. It arrived with bolts and nuts missing. It stated it was inspected by a warehouse person. Well, they need to have a quality control review on packaging. I was so upset I just returned all of it. So it was a big fail on behalf of Oakland Living and on a part with Amazon warehouse.

Looks great and will last a very long time and was exactly what we were looking. The only negative is that the instructions were almost non existent and was able to put it together by trial and error.

This is my first rating of an item purchased on Amazon, although I am/was a happy customer for many years. This cart is so poorly made - it is outrageous that any company could sell such a low quality product. First of all, on the Amazon site, it is mentioned that "some assembly is required". As a matter of fact, and although I am an engineer, it took me four hours to do it. There is only one drawing on a half a page with no step by step instructions and without any identification of what goes where. The hardware supplied comes in many colors, and due to the minimal schematics, which is below the level a first grade student, you have do it by trial and error. . The various parts do not align, the finished product is leaning on one side. Although the cart was supposed to be coated with Antique Bronze, the underside of shelves is painted black. I would have wished to have the option to rate it below one star!

Excellent match with my deck furniture. I love it being aluminum as it will survive wear and tear and the sun.

Bought this for our patio and it is awesome. The quality is unbelievable. It rolls well. You will not be disappointed. Very pleased!
