Rancho RS5000X Gas Shock Set compatible with 2003-2012 Dodge Ram 3500 4WD

I checked the Rancho website and these shocks fit a 4x4 ram 2500 ( as well as a 3500) so I tried them because I wanted a firm ride and since they work on a Ram 3500 I figured they would make my 3/4 ton ride nice. I've only put 25 miles on them but the ride is very good. I took off a high dollar set of premium shocks and these shocks ride as good as those did when new, I just can't speak to durability but so far they are great! I purposely hit some potholes and these shocks dampened the impact very well, I recommend them if you have a stock Ram 2500 4X4

Just installed in my 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 dually. I HAVE 140,000 miles on the original shocks. Based on how bad the fronts were I should have replaced them some time ago. The ride is great even my wife noticed the improvement.I like the fact these are made in the USA, which was important to my purchase. Now I will see how well they hold up.Installation is a little tough, had to purchase some metric sockets and wrenches. Be patient and you can do it.I suggest you watch a few You Tube videos as a reference before you start. The time and effort are well worth the results.

Love these shocks. Best buy for the money. I've been a Rancho customer for over 20 years. I used to by the RS9000 series shocks but for half the price these RS5000X set are just as good in my opinion. I never did use the adjustment feature on my 9000's. I would only set them and forget them. These are great at half the price.
