Necessary equipment.
After 20 years I repaired a oil based painting. This sealant tape was used to help create the vacuum bag. I did not have to remove the painting from the frame to adhere the patch on the back. It workedto hold the patch until it had competed the bond.

Perfect for the job
I'm doing a "factory assist" aircraft build, and this is what the factory uses for sealing vacuum bags for composite layups. I ordered this for a small project I had at home, and was pleased to see that it's the exact same stuff. Works very well.

Melted Crap
Clearly sits in a hot warehouse and melts into a giant glob of mastic and backing, useless for bagging.
