FM Stereo CD555 Bluetooth Boombox, Silver, 7.00 x 9.75 x 6.00 inches

This is a nice little radio. Good sound. We bought it because our new cars do not have a cd slot. Good for picnics and tail gates too. It needs to be on a stable surface like mist cd players to work well.

I needed a small CD Player for the second (smaller) living room and didn't need something that had really good speakers built into the player because I intended to use my Klipsch Promedia THX 2.1 desktop speakers. This CD player had everything I needed with regards to size, price, and features. I didn't have a tape measure handy, but my photo shows an orange Pearl Jam CD next to it. The CD player is basically the size of a CD case - 5.5 inches on all sides (LxWxH). It takes up very little space. As for the price, my total purchase price after tax was $45.57. I was very comfortable with that even before being able to actually try out the product. After hearing (and seeing) what this player can do, $45.57 is totally worth it. It sounds great! (using the external speakers of course). I have never tried listening to it using its built-in speakers and I don't think I ever will, so I apologize to the people expecting to find out what it sounds like with just the speakers it came with. The CD tray on top opens by hand - there's no button to press to open it, and it really doesn't matter. Less moving parts means less things that can go wrong. The CD hub feels like there's some kind of suspension or cushioning built into the mechanism so that CD's don't skip when carrying the player around - kind of like car CD players back in the day. Secure the CD in, close the top cover, and it shows the total number of tracks on the front display. I don't know if there's an option to have it auto play (I haven't fully explored all the product features yet). The sound quality is awesome. Even the best external speakers won't sound good if the source doesn't give the speakers good signal to process. This one does. High frequencies are crisp and detailed (cymbals, high notes), and the base is clear, full, and not muddy. The XBass button makes all the difference. It just amplifies the sound, not in the sense that it just makes it louder (that's what the volume control is for), but more like it gives the sound more intensity and clarity. All the wire connections are in the back of the player. There's a 3.5mm headphone jack where I connected my Klipsch external speakers, the power cord is right next to it, and another jack for the FM antenna that came with it. The power cord/adapter isn't very long. I'd estimate it to be between 2-3 feet. There's Bluetooth connectivity as well. I am very happy with this purchase and this product has exceeded my expectations.

My main intent was to be able to listen to this via Bluetooth headphones. According to the "RUFUS" answer on Amazon, it was capable of doing so. That is not factual. In order to do so, you have to have a special Bluetooth adapter jack plugged into the headphone jack of the boombox. If I had known that, I could have just purchased the adapter and used it with my old boombox. I'm not blaming Jensen for the misinformation RUFUS gave me, but there was no information on the Amazon description or anywhere I could find stating that you could NOT pair it to Bluetooth headphones. The Jensen Boombox is only set up to RECEIVE Bluetooth and not transmit it. The boombox itself works ok, but is not what I needed and now I have to spend more money because the information I needed was not available and the AI information was erroneous.

2017, Good size for travelling. Plug it on a computer bass and 2 computer speakers in Florida. Could not ask for better Dec. 2022 STILL WORKS GREAT, it had a few ups and downs. It could not read the CDs, or would read part of it. I decided to give it a chance. So I took the air can I use to clean the computer and sprayed the mechanism but VERY GENTLY ( checked on google) to remove the dust. It still did not work for some CDs. I took the liquid to clean the computor screen. I put some on a Qtips, removed the excess of liquid with a paper towel. I VERY GENTLY cleaned the clear lense that reads the CDs. It was perfect!!. I had to repeat the operation a year later because I did not use the Boombox for months . Small enough that when I go to Florida I put it in my suitcase and play my downloaded music using the Bluetooth. NO REGRETS , the sound is very good for a radio that size. When I am at the country house I plug in my Bose speakers. For the price I paid in 2017 ( $40.00) I could not ask for better.

This is exactly what I wanted! I returned two other ones because there were so many buttons and the user manuals were not user friendly. This Jensen one I bought has a good instruction manual that is straightforward. I love that it is small so it fits well on my nightstand. I wanted a cd player that has an auto replay button. The other two I returned did have auto replay, but you had to remember how many times needed to click on the very small buttons to get it to work. All in all, this cd player is perfect for me. Definitely worth the money compared to other cd players.

I loved this player when it worked. I have had 3 of the same. I had to return them. The company was good at replacing but the fact is, I used it about a year for the CD specifically and each one it all of a sudden it just stopped working. The radio worked but the CD stopped. I had them replaced but decided this time to throw it away. I am so disappointed because it fit perfectly where I needed it and worked fine till it didn’t. So sorry to give a bad review. It is not towards the company, just the product itself.

I've been buying these little guys for a while now and have them in several rooms. It's a great product with good sound, nice design, and easy to operate. This last purchase I made, I saw there were fewer colors available, which is a shame, but I went ahead and ordered it in Silver. Just so you guys know, the Silver model is actually white with silver trim, which I did not realize but personally was very happy to receive. The photos are accurate but the color description could be better. No harm done. I can't comment on the Bluetooth feature, but the CD player is what I use, and it's great.

Best purchase I've made in a while. It's a cute little thing, and the sound is great. Barely takes up any space and is so easy to use--I can listen to my old CDs now without a problem.

This arrived and has yet to work. It comes with an American plug and 120v as standard. It says in the user manual it will take up to 240v input but this is clearly not the case. Don’t sell products on Amazon.co.uk if they don’t work in the UK
