I have been making candles for about four years now and I’ve always used the double boiler method. I’m not sure why it took me so long to try this wax melter, but it has been absolutely a lifesaver. It melts the wax quickly and accurately. Great cleanup and lightweight. I am so happy that I purchased this and I would highly recommend. I would say, though make sure you purchase the one with the knob for the temperature to guarantee accuracy.

Perfect for beginners, it takes the guesswork out of keeping wax at the right temperature. This machine is well-built and will be with me for a long time.

I deducted 1 star due to the fact the temperature setting is not accurate. I have to play with it and mark where I wanted it to get to 185ºF. It is not that huge of a deal to work around and I use a thermometer to know exactly what it is at. I do think including a quality thermometer on it would be very helpful. As for cleaning it is not bad, just wipe it out and heat water in it then drain. I recommend watching some of the videos out there on it.

This is a very good wax melted. Super user friendly. Heats quickly and evenly. The clean up is just as easy. Nice purchase for the money.

I have had this machine since 2022 and not only has the nozzle busted off and split hot was everywhere, it now just started oozing out of the back of the cord and almost started an electrical fire. Do not buy this.

Bin begeistert! Endlich ein großer Pot um eine große Menge Wax zu schmelzen. Find es sehr praktisch und hält meine Küche sauber. Hab vorher immer das Wax in einen Topf erhitzt auf der Herd platte. Ist schon aufwendiger, wenn mehr Kerzen anfertigt.

We made some candles with my daughter this summer and we did it 2lbs at a time in a double boiler, which means it took FOREVER as we could only pour 4 candles at a time before melting more wax. We decided we needed to get some time back by a small investment with a wax melter. Now we can melt 12 pounds of wax at once and then pour from spigot into metal jug to add fragrance. With the same size vessels we were using before, we can now pour 48 candles!! It was a no-brainer to pick up and save a bunch of time for a small investment. Wax melter works great, easy to use and is a perfect size for hobby/small biz to make a batch of candles. Big enough for decent batches, yet small enough that we can easily store away when not in use. I would totally buy this again.

Leider sind wir sehr enttäuscht, nach wenigen benutzungen funktioniert es nicht mehr. Es geht an, aber der wachs schmilzt nicht mehr. Wir sind wirklich sehr enttäuscht da wir dachten wir haben was gutes gefunden.

Zu Beginn hat er ganz gut funktioniert, verstopfte aber immer wieder muss das Wachs dann oft auskippen und den Behälter weil es sich über die eigentliche Öffnung nicht abfüllen lies. Nach ca 6 Monaten ist er nun eigentlich nicht mehr zu gebrauchen, läuft unten andauernd aus, die Thermometer Anzeige löst sich, die Öffnung zum abfüllen ist völlig locker geworden und wackelt hin und her. Schade! Ich verkaufe Kerzen und der Wachsschmelzer sollte mir eine Erleichterung sein für meinen Shop - aber leider eher eine Geldverschwendung. Ich hätte gleich in einen ordentlichen investieren sollen. Also legt lieber noch ein wenig drauf und kauft einen vernünftigen Wachsschmelzer. Wirklich schade, für den Preis hab ich trotzdem ein wenig längere Lebensdauer erwartet.

Leider hält das Teil nicht, was es verspricht. Bei einem Preis von knapp 160 EUR kann ich da kein Auge zudrücken und deshalb geht der Wachsschmelzer nach einmaligem Gebrauch wieder zurück. Obwohl die Verarbeitung hochwertig aussieht, wartet man stundenlang darauf, dass der Wachs nun endlich geschmolzen ist. Mit 5 Minuten ist das nicht getan. Das grösste Manko ist allerdings, dass der Auslaufhahn immer wieder mit erkaltetem Wachs verstopft. Bevor man also Wachs zapfen kann, muss man der Hahn mit einem Feuerzeug erhitzen und dann läuft es irgendwann. Das ist nicht praktikabel. Tut mir leid.
