Review: Expensive but worth it - Although the cost of such a small device is expensive, the timer part does do its job well so that we don't have to worry if we forget to have the shade down or up every day. It is also a home security enhancement particularly when we are out of town on vacation.
Review: Needs work. - Very hard to program and this morning it didn't raise the blind as it was supposed to. When using it manually you usually have to tell it twice. I would like to be able to operate my blinds from my iPhone.

**Q: how do I program my somfy?**
A: The programming can be fairly confusing. There are a few ways to learn how to program your new Chronis Timer. You can go to the Somfy website and find the programming guide and program it yourself. Next option is to call the Somfy customer service and they can walk you through the programming. There is also a guy that does Youtube videos of how to program many Somfy products. He is really good at going over everything. You can put "somfy telis 1 chronis timer" into the google search engine and the videos from Motorize It will pop up, or at least they did on mine. If you don't want to do it yourself, your only other option is to call around to your local awning companies or blind companies to see if anyone can help you. You will, most likely, be charged for the service to help you. Hope this helps.

**Q: My blinds are electric but not wifi.  Can i purchase the wire less switch and remote together?  My home is also 220 volts only.**
A: You should contact the manufacturer on this. It does not use WiFi and there is no "Wireless Switch". The motor and switch are built into the blinds. This is not a general purpose device, as far as I know. It is intended for use only with their motor mechanism.

**Q: If I want to operate two groups independently, do I need 2 separate remotes?**
A: There is the Telis 16 and the Telis 1 Chronis. The 16 can have up to 16 groups but has no timer. The 1 Chronis has only one group but also has a timer. I really wanted multiple groups and a timer. That configuration was not available. The one you have handles only 1 group.
