Really pleased, my mood and sleep have improved

I've been taking these supplements to help with insomnia and nighttime joint aches and pains for 3-4years. I've experimented with dose and found 2 gave me a brilliant night's sleep. With my last order (end 2022) the instructions had changed saying 1 would be enough due to new improved formulation. Having taken only one for the last two weeks, I can confirm that 1 is definitely not enough. I'm waking after approx 4-5 hours, whereas before, I was getting a solid 8 hours. I've also noticed an increase in joint discomfort, anxiety and headaches in the morning. I've therefore switched back to 2, and found I'm back to normal. Given a significant price increase, I'm therefore wondering whether the new formulation was worth it, as I still need to take 2 for the desired effect, i.e. good quality sleep. I'd happily have continued on the old formulation which was as effective as the new one, for me at least. I've therefore given 4 stars rather 5, as I feel the change was unnecessary, and has seemingly resulted in a significant price increase for no additional benefit.

I bought this as a leap of faith support for nerve repair, as I have constant intractable neuropathic pain due to nerve damage & compression from spinal stenosis. Since I will have to take long term for any benefit, and I may never know definitively if it is helping my condition, I am investing in a possiblity, given it is one of the top supplements recommended for nerve health. At worst, I lose a bit of money; at best, I have hope, and maybe some bodily benefit. I like this brand in sensible packaging other than a glass or plastic bottle. The price is excellent for this type of magnesium, which I chose because it has a higher bioavailability than some forms. The very best bio-available forms are more expensive for regular long term use. I felt this was a good compromise for a leap of faith! Buying bigger amounts also lowers the unit cost. I take one capsule a day. The recommended dose is two, I think, but I am mindful my daily multivit & mineral pill contains some magnesium. I do not supplement more than the RDA, on the assumption I get some magnesium in my food as well! This is a matter of personal choice & risk assessment, of course. The capsule is a bit big, but I can swallow without too much difficulty & no discernible taste. Can't remember if vegan or not, but certainly vegetarian. I won't buy any other make than this now.

Easy to swallow, slept well. Just felt nauseated next day. Obviously a good quality product that absorbs well, as I don’t feel nauseated with cheap brands. Everyone is different. Excellent service. Swift delivery. Will certainly buy again from this company, but not magnesium glync. Does not agree with me personally.

Good value product. I like the packaging as it’s easy to store
