Absolutely perfect!
As a professional artist with appalling posture (working on the couch gets to be a bit too tempting sometimes), I've got a bit too good of late at crumpling up like a concertina in even the most sturdy ergonomic desk chairs. I thought something without a backrest might be a good incentive for me to sit up straight and stave off the seemingly inevitable transformation into a prawn. This stool is the one. It arrived quickly, was incredibly easy to assemble (so easy I thought I must be missing something), & I'm already feeling the benefits. The seat is comfortable—firm, but definitely padded; far more forgiving than your average exercise bike, let's say—and the construction of the stool itself feels nice and sturdy. The seat adjustment lever is easy to reach and works smoothly, and the casters are a nice width, so it doesn't look like you've been rollerblading all over on your carpet. All in all, I'm sitting straighter, my posture's better, & it's basically on a zero-effort basis thanks to the construction of the seat. Exactly what I was after for a healthier, more ergonomic sitting experience at my desk. My prawn days are over. Well worth the price tag.

Posture Perfection Saddle Stool!
What did I like? Fast delivery, economical price, very good packaging, high quality and ease of assembling and set up time. What did I dislike? None so far Recommend to buy? Depends what you need. I had a Herman Miller Merra Carbon chair and got rid of it to go back to basis and keep it simple, want to let my body do the work in its natural form. This saddle stool is very comfortable for my hip and legs, also can easily manoeuvre with the standing desk. I’ve been told, 60% standing and 40% sitting - and for sitting part, to try saddle stool or something similar to help with my lower back pain and strengthening my lumber spine. If you find this review helpful, please give a thumbs up or down, up to you. But definitely try and if you don’t like the product return for a refund. *I don’t have links with this product or the merchant or get any affiliate value out of this. Just wanted to help fellow back pain sufferers like me to benefit from it.

Perfect Piece of Kit.
I had a back injury and regular seating was incredibly uncomfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of this product though. Fits together in seconds with no tools. Heigh adjusts easily. The seat is super comfy and you can whizz around easily on the wheeled legs. Most importantly for me it's excellent for the posture. Back pain eliminated ina stroke. I bought one for work and have just bought another for home use. Deffo recommended.

It’s not leather or stainless steel, but vinyl and chromed aluminium.
But it’s very comfortable, adjusts quickly and looks expensive, it all depends on what your intended use is, personally I’ll be using it to visit people at home, small ear procedures max 40 min duration and it’ll be perfect for that purpose, I’ve ordered a large canvas drawstring bag to transport it in the car. Maybe I’ll get around to putting actual leather on at some point, depends on how attached I become to it.

Assembly is incredibly easy. Looks very well made and sturdy assembly was simple, put the gas lift cannister into the base, pop seat on top. Simples! My mobility is poor and I'm an artist, I bought this so I can work at my easel and, when I need to, be almost standing but supported by the stool, or, of course, sat lower without resembling a pretzel. I am also a large person and I was concerned about the swivel wheels - this style in the past has not supported my weight well. These look sturdy and becauss the position you sit in - not all your weight is on the wheels when moving - which is also great for me because low mobility means I spend the majority on of my time sat - I'm hopeful this stool will help reduce stiffness and aches. Seat feels comfortable, nicely padded, feels a bit awkward to get on - that's just being unfamiliar though. So far very impressed. I'll feed back again in a month or so. Updated: Hmm, comfort wise it's not great if you're a larger person, I can feel the plate that holds the seat in place through the foam, and after a short while my bum hurts and I get pains down my legs. So reduced the rating for that - as this is billed as being suitable for heavier people I would expect the seat to be more comfortable. Shame, because as a person with reduced mobility it has potential to be brilliant. Needs higher density, thicker foam - which considering it's pretty expensive, I'd expect it to have. I can only use it for short periods, which, as an artist, is not ideal. Further Edit So because I was finding the seat uncomfortable I was trying the honeycomb gel pads, - not terribly successfully, must be said. So have up that and was resigned to only being able to use the stool for short periods. However, happily, I've noticed recently that the seat feels more comfy. I summise it's down to muscles getting used to this saddle sitting position. I can still feel the metal plate but it's not horribly uncomfortable anymore. I still think the seat would benefit from a higher density foam though. I've upped the star rating a bit because this stool is now functioning as the aid I hoped for my reduced mobility, and allowing me to paint at my easel. Just be aware there's likely to be a period of adjusting to the new sitting position.

Great stool
Good, solid, sturdy, comfortable, easy to assemble. Wheels don’t lock but they glide nicely on my wood floors.

Sweaty tractor seat
The images make it appear narrow, like a motorcycle, like I've used previously. When it arrived, it is just a wide saddle/seat like you'd find on a tractor. Once constructed, the lowest position is too high for my desk The faux leather material causes visible sweat patches on my trousers. The base is solidly built though. That's the 1 star.

Painting in comfort
Really like the quality of this stool. I was finding I was getting a sore back oil painting at my easel for hours on a standard swivel chair. This tilts the hip forward making a more natural posture for weight forward activity. Dentists all have them for a good reason. The bearinged wheels are also a great advantage moving around my studio space smoothly and effortlessly. It also has really good height adjustability as I am 6’3”. The cost is well justified in regular use and quality.
