USB Overhead Document Camera Scanner 5 Mega-pixel High Definition for Classrooms,Libraries,Demonstration

Tues., June 20, 2017 7:35 a.m. PDT. I have not been able to operate this unit successfully for the most basic function, that is, to capture and save pages. Included instructions in a .pdf manual are worthless. The manual is written in very poor, and in important areas, unintelligible English. The manual fails to explain the basic steps to capture and save simple page scan. The unit is not intuitive for me. It dumps my scans and closes the software without saving the photos. It appears to create a separate file for each page. The software I have does not show the scans on my screen, which the manual illustrates as taking place. The scans I did discover on my PC HD did not split the screen pages of an open book. Perhaps there are software defects. I have not been able to save scans to .pdf format, only to .jpeg.I am not satisfied. So far this unit is not usable. I would recommend trying something else.

Program is okay. I bought it for scanning books quickly. Make sure to enlarge before scanning. Then, the pixel is okay. Yes, it's fast and easy to use.

I received this item promptly, 8 days to be exact instead of the estimated month. I had difficulty installing the software because my security software quarantined a file because it supposedly it was a trojan file. Virusscan showed it to be okay so I was able to do a work around. I am now completely satisfied. 4x6 photos as well as larger documents are no problem with this scanner. I recommend it.

Software isn't very intuitive. Image came out badly. Instruction sheet reads like bad English. Just bought Genius Scan for my iphone. Beats the daylights out of this scanner.
