Fixed p3794 and p0304 code after days of troubleshooting (don’t buy cheap gaskets - buy this unit)
Dorman 918-056 does indeed work on a 2008 Honda Odyssey EX-L. Cleared up the pesky p3794 and p0304 issue. Save yourself the grief and just buy this solenoid when trying to fix the leaky OEM gaskets. I tried purchasing after market gaskets off amazon (3 different brands) and they all resulted in the p3794 code showing up (I never had it before replacing the gaskets). The lower gasket included with this dorman solenoid was a lot thinner than the other gaskets I purchased off Amazon and the fitment didn’t look so great. Initially I used a lower aftermarket gasket with this solenoid and the p3794 code still showed up. The lower Dorman gasket didn’t look good but I was mistaken (I was scared it would get pinched when putting the plate on as it kept wanting to pop out of the “groove”). In the end, I used the Dorman solenoid with the gaskets it came with and no longer have any codes. FYI Honda Canada does not sell the gaskets for these solenoids by themselves. They will only sell you a complete solenoid, much like this Dorman one, for about $420 uninstalled. Anyhow, I no longer have any oil leaks by the oil dipstick and the van has been running great for about a week now.

Half the cost of Autozone
This was an exact fit and part for 2010 Honda Odyssey , so glad I found it on Amazon for half the cost as my local parts house. Everything worked perfectly and no more oil leak. The oil leak was my my Alternator, till I figured it out.
