Well, I can’t believe I’m saying this-ever the skeptic with these types of things-but this pillow is great. Cradles my head and neck perfectly, not hard-just soft enough. Good for back sleepers only (IMO). No more pain.

I have chronic neck pain from a car accident 26 years ago. I had been using a more traditional type of cervical pillow—the kind where the center is basically a valley surrounded by tube mountains. It was okay, but not perfect. Enter this curiously-shaped invention.I have only been using this new pillow for about two weeks now, so I can’t yet speak to its durability, but I can definitely say that it is already a marked improvement over the rectangular neck doughnut. Thanks to my years of using the older style cervical pillow, my body already knew how to fall right into position with this one. I imagine that most people’s bodies would figure it out easily enough even if this is their first such pillow. My head and neck simply WANT to settle into the sweet spots.My neck pain, which will never be zero (unless they come with Six-Million-Dollar-Man neck tech before I die), was significantly reduced after the very first night of use and has remained at this lower level each morning. The day always brings reasons for the neck to hurt more, so I’m always ready for some overnight healing. This pillow does not disappoint. Not only do I wake up with less neck pain than I used to, but I also feel more refreshed and energized.I was surprised on that first night to learn that the part where the head rests while lying on my back was thicker than with the older style pillow I was using. I wondered if that was going to be bad, but it was great. My head actually feels more cradled by this design than, and I think that means less urge to fidget to find a good position. My head just feels right while on my back.Side sleeping has also become less fidgety with this pillow. My face hits that shape just right and it feels so natural. The plush finish is also quite soothing. My arms don’t always want to tuck into the niches as shown in the photos, but when they decide to then they also just fall in quite naturally.All in all, it’s a great design and has shown improvement in my sleep and pain reduction. Again, I have only owned it for a couple of weeks, so I can’t speak to how well it will perform over time. So far I’m very happy with the purchase, and I would recommend this to anyone who has neck or shoulder pain to manage or has sleep quality issues.

Review update:Upon further inspection of the pillow, I noticed a material description discrepancy between what’s advertised and what’s in the actual tag. The pictures show the tags indicating a 100% Polyester cover, while in the Amazon product page, it indicates a blend of polyester and bamboo rayon.I should have checked this way earlier when I first received it. I’m now only starting to pay attention to label consistency. If the cover is really 100% Polyester, please match the description in the Amazon page.Other than that, it’s still a comfortable pillow.—————————-Materials:I appreciate the Certi-pur certification of the memory foam, as well as the use of organic bamboo fabric encasement. It feels smooth and soft, and don’t feel any splinter. Hardly any off-gasing when opened at all which is very convenient and readily comfortable to sleep on.Comfort:As a first time user of a cervical pillow like this one, and having used it for a few weeks now, it feels strange at the neck portion (using the longer, curved end) while lying on my back, BUT every time I wake up in the morning in the same position, my neck doesn’t feel any pain.As for its proportions, laying on the pillow, I somehow suspect it’s not quite short enough for my neck, resulting to the back of my head not quite reaching the center of the concave portion of the pillow. If it could come in various sizes at the neck portion, I think would be helpful. Having said that, I still feel that my head is still being cradled without having to shape it like how I would a regular pillow. In addition, the removable foam at the bottom of the pillow (which I have removed) is a considerate adjustment setting provided one’s comfort preferences.Overall:I’m happy with the purchase as it provides me and my husband a pain-free sleep. I have occipital and cervical neuralgia and I have tried many different pillows and all failed me, EXCEPT this pillow! It is MY SAVING GRACE! I am a side sleeper and I love it! It cradles my neck perfectly and I’m a very small adult. I prop it up to support my neck and shoulders and mid back when watching tv in bed. I lay on my side to sleep and I love the side wings that support my arm without having nerves pinching. I suffer from migraines too and this pillow comforts me during attacks. I love the size, the shape, the material and the sturdiness! It is the best pillow I have ever owned and it really has helped ease my pains in my neck and shoulders. I actually will bring it to hotels, or camping because if I use any other pillow, my neck and shoulder end up hurting if I don’t use this pillow! Even my dog likes to lay on it! It’s easy to clean, unzip the cover and toss it in the washer and then dry it. I use a pillow case over it, queen size and it fits fine. I highly recommend this pillow to anyone with neck and shoulder issues! You absolutely will not be disappointed! You will rest well and wake feeling good!

So far the pillow has helped not let my head roll all the way to the side when I’m sleeping on my back, it has helped with my cervical tinnitus in a few nights , I don’t wake up with extreme ringing vs when I use a normal pillow so far.

***UPDATE: 3-7-23 Manufacturer refunded my purchase. I emailed the manufacturer and was able to get a refund. Thank you!!***When the pillow arrived 2 weeks ago, I removed the plastic and the quilted pillow case and let it sit in my laundry room for 3 days hoping the horrible smell would go away. With the door shut, I could STILL smell it as soon as I walked in my house. I have washed the quilted pillow case twice so far and have 3 more cotton pillow cases over the pillow and quilted case. I have tried lavender spray on my top pillow case but the combination of fragrances makes it smell like moldy flowers so I stopped doing that. They claim that it is "odorless" memory foam but the pillow I received has a definite disgusting smell that hasn't gone away after 2 weeks. Other customers have mixed experiences--some have a smell, some do not. I guess I was one of the unlucky ones.I wrote to the seller World J Goods. The first response was a 50% refund and I could keep the smelly pillow. NOT acceptable since I am still within the Amazon 30 day time frame for a FULL refund/Free Return.Also, the literature that came with the pillow states several confusing "warranties" from the manufacturer, ZAMAT. 100-night trial, 365 days hassle free return policy, 3-Year Manufacturer Limited and 10 year Warranty are all printed on the literature! The heading states "100-Night Trial Warranty" but to further confuse the customer, the last FAQ states: "Q: What is the warranty of ZAMAT pillow? A: You can try out this new item for a full 365 days! If the product does not work for you, please contact us within 365 days from the date of purchase for the no-hassle return without any questions." So it is a 100 night or 365 night trail period / return warranty??? Is it a 3 year or 10 year Manufacturer Warranty?The second email from customer service had a more acceptable response: "My deepest apologies for this. Regarding your issue, I am escalating this to a relevant department and will be back in touch with you about this within 24-48 hours. I've marked down your inquiry as urgent and will touch base as soon as possible. Apologies for the delay - we are going to get this turned around ASAP for you. Sincerely, Customer Service Team" I will give them the time to respond but I will also contact ZAMAT regarding the smell issue since it is really a manufacturing issue and not the Amazon seller.If you have no sense of smell, chronic sinus congestion or breathe through your mouth, this pillow is comfortable once you find the proper position and height. After several days of a stiff neck, I flipped the pillow around and removed the insert. It is now the perfect height for me. If only I could get the awful smell issue resolved...

I decided to buy this pillow after reading the reviews and having constant neck pain waking up. This is the only one I saw that you could add or take out some of the foam for increased or decreased height. (You can request more foam, but i doubt you'll need it). For me this was important because the engineer in me had to measure the height of a standard pillow vs this and wow there is a big difference, I thought it would be too tall to start.(A bit about me: I'm 6' tall, 220 lb male with a big head. I sleep on an adjustable bed with the head elevated to help counter my acid reflux. Typically I lay on my side before rolling over and falling asleep on my back.)Trying to lay on my side with this pillow doesn't really work for me, and the sides of the pillow aren't really necessary in my opinion. I'd absolutely say this pillow is for back sleepers only, I've tried the last week since i got it starting on my side and it just doesnt work for me. This pillow is taking a little getting used to because it doesnt spread like a normal pillow... but its a good thing because it actually has support for your neck. It fits my big head like a baseball glove, it doesnt allow for you to roll around a lot which is new for me but so is waking up without a ton of pain in my neck. I also seem to be falling asleep faster but i'm not sure if that is related to the pillow as of yet.No funky smell like some other pillow reviews had, comes in a washable slip cover. I just put my king size pillow case over it, but i'd bet a standard size would work too. I highly reccomend this pillow!

We waited to write a review for this pillow, because we wanted to make sure it would hold up over time and would continue to be a great pillow. We have now had this pillow for 10 months and from the very start, it was a great pillow! There was not "getting used to it" time. It was great from the first night. It remains a great pillow to this day. Before this pillow, my wife was getting neck pain (including torticollis twice) from stress and poor neck support from her regular pillow and we searched for a while for the right pillow, reading lots of articles and reviews online and getting advice from her chiropractor. We finally chose this one for her and she loves it. Not only is her neck pain completely gone, but her snoring is reduced. It's so comfortable, and she enjoys being pain free with it, that she brings it with her even when travelling. The pillow case is attractive, high quality, and easy to wash (she hangs it to dry). She puts a regular pillow case over the pillow case it comes with, for extra protection of the pillow, and doesn't mind that it doesn't look perfect inside a regular pillow case. It looks fine and the main thing is that the pillow is so comfortable that she wouldn't sleep a night without it. She is 5'5", and average size, and she took the extra insert out from inside to make the pillow comfortable in height for her head and neck. The arm resting area is even great. She likes sleeping on her side on this pillow and on her pack. It's comfortable all around. She loves this pillow and hopes the manufacturer will make it for a long time in case anything happens to hers. This was a great investment and has saved her 10 months of neck pain so far. She loves this pillow.

In one day sleeping with this pillow my neck pain got relief and now it’s gone 🙌🏻

After a few days use, got up every morning without usual neck stiffness. Seems to help support head and neck for better sleep.

My husband is 37 & has the worst neck pain always. Many times he wakes up stiff unable 2 move his neck from the pain. Bought many pillows b4 I landed on this 1. I think he loves it more than I. But I'm glad his neck is ok.

Smaller than expected, expensive.. caused tension my neck and shoulders.Had to change it.
