I was very excited to see this product available again after some time off of shelves, and I was thrilled to find such a good price for bulk quantities. The seller packaged it well, with ice packs and in a styrofoam cooler. The cheese was also well within its expiration date when it arrived.Therefore, I was very surprised and disappointed when my family opened the cheese and tasted it two days after it arrived! We all noted the rancid flavor and spoiled smell that was not consistent with our experience of this product, which we frequently buy in smaller quantities at a local grocer. It was almost nauseating, like milk that has gone bad mixed with rotting garbage.Not one of the six people in attendance was willing to eat more than a bite or two, and the second carton was as awful as the first! I can only guess something is amiss in the production line or distribution, as the seller seemed to take every effort to make sure it arrived in good condition. We will stick to buying it locally in the future!

It spreads beautifully, very smooth. It is not very flavorful and really does not have that 'brie' taste like that from a whole wheel.

Great product. The price is too high. I have found sit at the local super market for under $6 and it wasn't even on sale.
