Would this yeast work for homebrewing mead? I'm making a batch for my viking-themed wedding next year

That's a great question. Distiller's yeast such as this is not suited for making mead. You could use it but it will not produce a desirable flavor. You will want to use a traditional wine yeast instead. Thanks!

1 bag is enough for over 400 gallons? I make vodka at a larger scale (500 gallons of mash per run) and was wondering if 1-2 grams per gallon is true?
