This silk is very high quality and easy to wind into 'balls'. I've ordered from this company before, and all my purchases have been exemplary. The skeins were a touch slow in arriving, but given the mail situation during the pandemic, I certainly won't complain.

This yarn has all the sheen and softness you'd hope for from pure silk and a very slight halo. It's going to be a real pleasure to wear. As the yardage suggests, it's on the finer side for lace weight--I'm not sure I'd go above a 3.5mm needle even for a lace shawl. It was shipped out immediately and arrived a full week before the earliest predicted delivery date, which was a lovely surprise.
