Works well
I've used this now a couple of times. It really is shorter in use, and it works as good as any gun I have used in the past. I will say that it drips exactly as every other gun drips. The so-called anti-drip feature is exactly the same as that of every other gun: the pressure release. The only difference is that you use your index finger instead of your thumb to press it (6 of one . . . )I was concerned that splitting a caulk tube would present issues if I removed and stowed a partially used tube. I found that not to be a problem. The plunger that forces the tube's slide inward is spaced ahead of the blade that splits the tube, so the split, regardless of its length, is always well back behind the active part of the caulk tube.My only remaining concern is how long it will last, as it has a blade inside (not accessible for sharpening) that splits the tubes. It has to get dull over time. Time will tell.

Unimpressed with this caulk gun
This gun cuts the tube as it draws the tube backward toward the trigger. Once you make your angle cut on the tube be sure to position it exactly, as it will be unable to be repositioned due to to the cut running the length of the tube. and held in place e by the knife. What I find disqualifying about this gun, is the quick release lever to stop the flow, doesn't stop the flow. You have to manually move the rod forward after pressing the release lever, otherwise the gun keeps feeding caulk for some duration. That maneuver is pretty clumsy. The reason the release doesn't work well is due to the tube being firmly held in place by the knife which slices the tube to help move it along while dispensing the caulk. On a traditional gun, the release is pressed and the flow stops due to the release of pressure on the tube itself. After pressing the release lever on this gun, the pressure is only released by the gun continuing to feed caulk until internal tube pressure subsides. Not a good product.

Works great!
This caulk gun is pretty awesome!. Well worth the price. I have had all kinds of caulk guns in my life and this is the only 1 that does not break at spot weld locations when you squeeze the trigger. Ez to use and handle In hand. The minor downfall of this is that it cannot get into tight spaces. But u can just use your finger to get in there. Highly recommend this.

Space saver caulking gun
The unit appears to be compact and much solid feel than the regular gun . I was only attached a tube for experimental purpose and confirmed that length has been reduced quite a bit. I believe this would help in handling of performance and comfort as well for my next project .

Definitely not dripless but still a good product
This thing is super nice to be honest. But it’s not dripless as advertised. Will leave you a pile of caulk. Super lightweight and sturdy. Though I would like to see it with a belt or ladder hanger

Fonctionne très bien
Ravie de mon achat, je ne me suis pas trompée en l'achetant. Mieux que mon ancien qui s'est cassé.

Very good but....
This Item Is very good, but as others have said, It continues to ooze after you stop squeezing. Most other guns do this anyway so just remember to release the tension on the trigger and the problem Is no longer there. Other problem Is that I hang my guns but there's no hook here....not a big problem but would be more convenient. The gun Is really easy to use and smooth to operate and cuts through the plastic sealant tube easily. If the tube you want to use Is too long, you'll need to carefully trim some off the tail end.
