Gorgeous Bow
At the time of this writing this is 1 of the 2 bows I really like being offered by Amazon, and they are both sold by AF Archery. The other bow I like is the 53" Tatar bow. This bow is super light weighing about 4/5th of a pound, its fast and snappy. Built and finished very well. It has one drawback, but that's because of how fine the bow is and how short the bow is and so it should be expected. The bow is a little unstable...what does this mean? It means if you are not careful to make sure the limbs of the bow are straight after you string the bow...this means the string has been put on a little crooked. If you draw the bow like that, it will warp and destring itself violently on you. This is NOT a defect, this is what happens when you so finely tune a bow to these dimension. YOU, need to make sure you string the bow so it is straight. Get on youtube and learn how. If you are uncertain about that, then I recommend the Tatar which is a little more stable due to being a little less stressed with the added length. But this really shouldn't put you off, I am writing it hear to help prevent unnecessary returns. These two bows are my absolute favorite and I am buying another of each in heavier draw weights for hunting.

Simple, fast and stable turkish bow
This is a short, sweet shooting bow. The shots are crisp, fast and it hits with authority, The turkish style handle fits my hand like a glove. The materials are simple maple and fiberglass laminations but AF has the design down pat and it feels stable upon release. The arrow pass is narrow and grip material smooth and comfortable. This is one of my best shooting bows worth every penny.

Excellent bow for mounted archery.
I now have 3 of these bows. One for myself and two for use for our mounted archery club and lessons. (30# & 35# models) Price thru Amazon is very reasonable. I love the short length, especially for offside shots, and short enough to fit in a rifle case for traveling by plane to competitions. I like the snappy feel. I've had no problem with the strings coming off.

Broken within a week
When receiving the bow I was really loving it. I could get pretty accurate shots. However, after it being used only a few days and less than 100 shots, it broke when I did a normal draw. I’m not a beginner and I know how to properly use a traditional bow. This is the first bow ever broken in my hands. It was dangerous and I’m glad that I didn’t hurt myself.

quite a bit light on the draw weight
The bow is well made and finished beautifully. Shoots well but the draw weight is a little light. I ordered a 30# bow and it actually measures 27#. Off by quite a bit. I have a pretty accurate hanging scale and it was verified by my local archery shop. I'm going to keep it and maybe get the tartar bow at 35#.

A lot of bow for a little money!!!!
I bought this on a whim after seeing several youtube videos regarding AF products. I have purchased many bows over the years and generally you only get what you pay for so I wasn't expecting much. OK this bow is an anomoly it is very well made regardless of price and I am well pleased with it. Smooth draw and light as a feather. Get one you will be glad you did.

Beauty at it’s finest! Very satisfied!
Amazing bow! AF archery is well known brand I knew I couldn’t go wrong with them. Quality at a great price. My first Turkish asiatic / horse bow. Quiet, smooth, beautiful, snappy, khatra also comes naturally. Amazing!

Excellent bow, excellent customer service
Quality. Almost no hand shock with 26th gram arrows. Nice draw experience. See ARMIN HIRMER’s review on you tube. Shan Shan is sometimes a man of few words, but his customer service is EXCELLENT. I’ve owned five bows from AF archery. I like them that much. Expect an additional nine lbs of draw weight between 28” and 32”
