They are pretty, with a pleasing smooth, glassy and mirror like texture. These magnets are super strong. Buy a few extra sets for when you need a small, inexpensive gift to give, to an (eight-year-old or above), you will have these around. I would not give these to a small child, they will block an small airway.

I also have an ono roller and I like these better. think chinese baoding balls, but smaller and with magnets. the magnets are an intriguing factor for sure.
