Victorinox Swiss Classic Foldable Paring Knife, Wavy Edge Green 4.3 in

I really like the Victorinox serrated utility (tomato) knives. They are relatively inexpensive, extremely sharp - there is literally no downsides for them. So I introduced them to all of the bars in the organization I am working in. However when I am working, I like to have my own tools on me- so this folding version is just awesome. It is slightly longer (handle)- which is even better. The folding mechanism is a bit odd when you start, but then save and intuitive. No complaints at all. It is also as sharp as the original knife.

Love this knife! Very sharp and useful. I appreciate that it folds safely for picnics or when I take it with me to work. The colored handle is really bright and joyful. Perfect size to get a variety of prep done. Great for citrus and avocados.

For years I have carried an Opinel No.8 in carbon steel, and have cut many apples, peaches, strawberries, oranges and so forth for lunch or afternoon tea. A bit tired of the mechanism sticking so much, I looked for an alternative and found this one. I have used this Victorinox for less than a week, and while the lack of a point made strawberry hulling a bit trickier the way it just perfectly and smoothly sectioned an orange inspired me to get on and write this. The plastic feels light and inconsequential, like camping cutlery; but the slim serrated blade is a dream and the mechanism folds and unfolds with ease while locking positively and securely. Sorry Opinel - this is my new fruit knife.

I'm using this little gem constantly now. It is so v good. I bought another one too. Brilliant quality and the design is perfect. Initially, I struggled with collapsing it but then tried a gentle sideways push and bingo. I highly recommend this little knife. It will quickly become a favourite of yours. I chose the serrated style. Five stars from me.
