really really good rice/pressure cooker

Very good rice cooker — the size, functions, and appearance are all just what I wanted. I’m not sure if the de-sugar function actually works; to me, it just makes the rice less flavourful and stickier to clean. But the quick rice function is really good.

It’s simple to use, small enough to fit tight kitchen spaces. However the product was supplied with a US plug in when purchased on UK marketplace

We bought this last year when we moved into a new flat and our old Japanese rice cooker hadn't survived the move. When it first arrived, we had good expectations - the design was stylish and the controls were easy enough to understand (a bit limited if compared to East Asian rice cookers of the same price range, if anything). We've used a fair number of Japanese rice cookers in the past, both cheap and expensive, and in comparison, the rice pot of the Lauben rice cooker does feel cheap in comparison. A year later, it's in fact survived pretty well, still unscratched and without issue. The major con however is that a year later, the "Desugar" mode (which is the main gimmick of the product), no longer works - the rice cooker simply overheats and starts obnoxiously beeping until you unplug it. We contacted customer service via email, who enthusiastically just sent along a form to log a complaint, and that was the end of that - no further replies or suggestions on what to do. One further complaint, is that when opening the rice cooker after use, the water that condenses on the inner surface of the lid, will exuberantly drip everywhere, and on surfaces of the rice cooker that you probably don't want water to pool on. In most other rice cookers that I've used, conduits are usually designed in, to channel the water away from where it's not supposed to go. Overall, an okay rice cooker. This is by no means "expensive" for a rice cooker, but we just didn't expect that after-sale support would be so half-assed, especially when they're (over)confident enough to increase the price by 50%. Can't help but feel that the appliance has a nice fancy shell, but sub-par internals.

The product description says it is suitable for 4 cups, but in reality it cannot cook more than 2 cups of rice properly. When I put more than 2 cups, the rice remained uncooked on top and watery at the bottom. Unfortunately, it does not meet the expectations for a 4-cup rice cooker.

He hecho varios tipos de arroz y sopas y ha quedado todo muy rico. No sé si será verdad lo de -40% de carbohidratos pero sí que se queda serapado el almidón cuando lo usas en esa función. Me gusta y para dos que somos en casa es perfecto. No ocupa mucho en la cocina y me resulta muy útil
