My original white plastic architectural rule from my tech school days (1962) recommended by my technical high school finally got enough chips in it I had to replace it. When I put this next to it it read identically. I still use one of these when designing interior walls, kitchen cabinets, wooden furniture and now doll house partitions and furniture. Everything fits together within my designs for items made in my shop. Accuracy of this instrument is excellent. I have two and both read the identically.

Item arrived on time, is exactly what I wanted, and appears to be very accurate. Crisp, exacting lines for all measurements, the perfect scale. This is the first aluminum scale I have ever tried (over 50-years of mechanical/architectural amateur drawing), and I would happily recommend it and purchase again.

You don't need a metal arc ruler but it is nice knowing that if you chuck this across the room it won't snap in half like a plastic one would

As advertised - I'd buy it again - though I doubt I'll ever wear it out
