It's much cheaper than those bigger radar detectors, so that's a huge bonus because the bigger radar detectors I've seen cost nearly 350 bucks a pop. This costs like 20 dollars, tremendous savings, and the same results. This radar detector's default language might be set in something other than your fluent language, so be prepared to learn how to change the language. Things to be aware of: #1 This will do absolutely nothing to block the radar. #2 What is a radar detector good for if it can not block your speed from radar? All a radar detector is really good for is to know that when the detector alerts you that it has been hit by radar is that there is some device that is measuring your current speed. The radar hitting the detector can be many things: a speed limit sign that posts your speed, it might be a convenience store door that is positioned too close to the road, probably several things I'm not going to list here but, more commonly, it will be a police vehicle that is looking for a speeder. #3 The good part is that, hopefully, you are and were going the posted speed limit in the location where you are driving when your detector alerts you of radar, and if you were not speeding when it goes off, you can now pay closer attention that you are keeping within the safe range of not getting a speeding ticket, which is approximately five mph over the posted speed limit. #4 The safe range I mentioned is not guaranteed, but in most of the larger populated areas, five mph above the posted speed is something cops will usually let go but don't bet on it. It's better to go the speed limit. #5 ALWAYS remember that a Radar Detector does absolutely nothing to keep you safe from receiving a speeding ticket if you are going over the speed limit! The reason I have a radar detector is to have a constant reminder in my vehicle to keep going the speed limit or slower. I like it because I literally never go anywhere without it going off at least one time which has helped to slow down considerably. Drive slower you'll live longer. This is a fact.

Bought this for a gift and he really enjoys it. Keep him on his toes. Great for the price.

Does not have good range. You can see the radar well before it alerts you. No hard mount. Very impressive but not worth the money. Will be returning the item.

Horrible!! Failed to detect 7 out of 10 times and usually when it did the cop was literally already in front of me. I returned this product and bought a Viper brand. It works great!!

It can't be completly trusted out of the box. If you get it learn it's capabilities and short comings before speeding down the highway. It may or may not work as expected. You can not understand the voice on this thing and thier is no way to turn it off the just beep and alert without the voice that I have found. Gimmiky product at best.

NO LO COMPREN. Es pésimo. Lo usé por primera vez en carretera y no dejó de sonar la alarma en todo el camino. Se ve de ínfima calidad, mal ensamblado y solamente tiene dos idiomas disponibles (chino y ruso). Va directo al bote de basura. NO LO COMPREN.
