Jus gorgeous can’t wait to use it

This kettle is very cute but the main reason I got this was to brew loose tea....Like what the other person said the water level needs to be high and starts coming out of the sprout all over the counter and stove. When you don't fill it high enough, you can barely taste the tea...so I guess I'll keep it to use as a regular kettle. Only reason for 3 stars is for the aesthetic look and how hot it gets.

Cups get super hot ! Don't over fill!

It looks nice out of the box, another review said that it wasn't 40oz, so out of curiosity, I measured it. It was 34.8oz with a bit of space to keep it from overflowing with the infuser in. If you try to boil water in it on high (electric stove) but keeping it around 5 gets me a nice rolling boil without overflowing. Drying the inside is a bit of a task, and the cups do get really hot, but it's manageable if I hold them by the rim.Tldr: it's a pretty nice tea set for $40, don't turn the stove all the way up.

This teapot was a great gift for my wife. I thought 40oz would be too big so I initially bought a 32oz which arrived all busted up thanks to UPS. Their careless handling turned out to be a blessing because it led to the purchase of this teapot. The 4oz cups are perfect for her to sip tea, the cast iron holds heat for a long time and it is an awesome decorative piece for our kitchen when not in use. This is a good purchase.

Initially I was quite pleased. Six months later the lip of the cups are chipping and the bottoms are rusting :(These cups have been washed by hand only so it is not a dishwasher issue.
