Great product I bought them because a lot of things I bought the backing would not stay on these work very good. The clasps are tight enough to stay on the back of the earrings, necklaces, or brooches. would definitely recommend them.

They lock onto my pins very well and they stay on well.

I purchased these to secure pins to an Ita backpack in lieu of the rubber backings that come on most enamel pins nowadays. And for that purpose they work great! They attach to the pins easily and hold them in place on all different types of ita bag inserts. However! What I have noticed as my collection grew and I shuffled pins around between bags, is that the butterfly wings tend to loosen after two or three uses. This has little effect on an ita bag in which my pins are behind an insert and the backs simply fall into the pocket of the bag but if you are purchasing this for use on a jacket or something where you might move the pins alot or they could fall more easily, I WOULD NOT recommend this. Locking backs are a better choice. But for my use I'm happy enough and planning to buy more sets for my expanding pin collection.

I like to collect novelty enamel pins. One big problem is that the backings that come with the pins don't always grip tightly - which is worrying because these pins can be expensive and heavy! I hate losing a pin because the backing fell off, so I ordered these in hopes of creating a tighter grip. Success! Since I ordered these backs I used them to replace all the backings on all of my pins. It's been over a year of running around with my backpack full of pins, and none of them have budged! You get a lot of backings for the price, so it's a great deal. Totally satisfied.
