I love this cup. I got the cat one and find it adorable. I've had the cup 3.5 years with very regular use (I drink mostly hot tea in it). Today, the handle broke off when I was unscrewing the lid, so I've bought a replacement of the exact same since I felt I got my money's worth out of the first one. I'm hoping they didn't change anything major on the design as I love the esthetic and the functionality of it. I really didn't think I'd care about the handle but it was actually quite... handy. :)I love that I can leave the lid off for 5-10 min to cool my tea to drinkable temp then put the lid on. From there, it easily STAYS a drinkable temp for 3 or so hours (more than enough time to finish my cup).Over time my tea did stain the inside a bit, but I expect that with white ceramic and if I was truly bothered by it I could soak it off with vinegar, if needed. I managed to scratch the exterior in a few small spots, but that didn't bother me and the painted design stayed on quite well.It may be worth noting that I only hand washed it, as I didn't think the dishwasher was a good idea for the "double walled" interior or the cute paint, but really it was more of a personal choice to hand wash it too keep it for as long as possible.Update 5/26/2025: the new cup arrived today. There are some minor changes to the design but they all appear to be upgrades which makes me quite happy. Specifically the changes are:- the old version was a slick paint exterior, the new has a textured paint making the grip of the cup better- in the old version the picture/pattern paint was raised, now the pattern is much more flush/part of the textured paint. I think this will make scratching the pattern harder to do but that is just a guess- the new one has a metal ring around the top of the cup, which likely will prevent paint from chipping from screwing the cap on, but I didn't really have a problem with that before anywayI saw in some reviews folks mentioned a bad plastic smell on the cap - I have an extremely sensitive sense of smell (like that of a pregnant woman) and I can say with confidence there was zero rubber or plastic smell to the new one.

OK I love these cups, the fact I can stick my hand all the way in to the bottom of them for cleaning is great, I also like they are ceramic in the inside of them, I have bought 5 of them so far and plan to buy a few more just so I can always have a clean on, I drink 2 cups of coffee a day but one in the morning and one mid-day. The seem to be good quality and I have put them in the dish washer I have had them for about 6 months now. The coffee stays warm for hours, unless you use a lot of fresh creamer from the fridge, then it will only stay warm for about 2 hours. I recommend heating the cream then your coffee will stay warm for about 5 to 6 hours. One thing to mention is do not let undrunk coffee sit in the cup over night as it will stain the inside of your cup ( sadly I did this with my 1st one) but the others still look brand new! The lid on this cup is great as well and makes drinking your coffee, or whatever u have in the cup easy to drink. Hope this is helpful for others. Enjoy!

Had a double walled stainless steel cup with a push on lid. The rubber gasket seal was close to wearing out so i started shopping for a replacement. In the past I’d always just gone to a local store and selected something off the shelf from whatever they had. This time I decided to check Amazon for a wider selection and the ability to check reviews. I was attracted to this cup due to both the screw on lid, so no gasket to wear out, and reviews spoke highly of the ceramic coating. The little carry handle is also a plus.While I agree the ceramic coating makes a noticeable difference in the taste of my coffee, this cup doesn’t keep the coffee hot as my previous cup. I haven’t broken out a thermometer, but my coffee starts with heating water to 200 degrees F in the electric kettle, which is the recommended setting for French press. My commute is roughly 20-30 minutes at which point the coffee has noticeably cooled, much more than the previous cup. With the prior cup, I could sip coffee over several hours, but I find that I now have to choose between drinking it faster than I am used to or I end up pouring it out once it gets too cold.The grippy bottom is a mixed blessing since the cup is more likely to tip over if accidentally bumped since it doesn’t slide.Overall the pros out weigh the cons, so I am happy with my purchase. It remains to be seen if it has the durability as well.
