Great for at home massages
I love this little massage ball. It had the right level of density to make it effective for massage, and is lightweight enough I can leave it in my bag to take around and use it anywhere I feel like I have a quiet moment and this could help. I like to use it on my forearm to help with some wrist pain I’ve been having, but can also lay down on a yoga mat and let this work through the knots I can get in my shoulders. It really is nice to help with the tension I can get in between massage therapy visits.

Having a ball, leaning helps back pain.
It's a solid ball. Thank you for reading.Ok, I bought it to massage a sore spot on my lower back and it works great. Lean against a wall, placing the ball over the spot, then lean against it gently, holding for thirty seconds or so. Move the ball around, and be sure not to slouch when leaning against it. It did not have any kind of funky smell, and the pressure on my back seems to help when I do it. This isn't a permanent form of pain relief, but a good trick to have when those aching spots act up. A good size, I think any smaller and it would be too painful to lean on, and while the cost was a couple of bucks higher than the competition, as I said, there was no smell, so good deal in my book.

Very stiff ball, helpful for sore muscles and sciatic pain
It's a lacrosse ball, but not for playing lacrosse. This one's meant for working out muscle knots, and it does that really well. I use it to roll out sore or tight spots, especially after long days or workouts. It works on just about any surface—carpet, hardwood, even up against a wall. It’s been especially helpful for relieving sciatic pain. Just a heads-up: this ball is very firm. If you’re not used to it, it might feel pretty intense at first. But once you get the hang of it, it really gets the job done.

Great
Excellent quality and value. It’s very rubbery and on the heavy side which is ok. Use it on a clean surface because it will pick up dirt on the ground. Not the end of the world for me since I use it on my feet.Very easy to use and helps tremendously with pain in my feet.

Perfect travel companion
I have substantial scapula pain, especially when on planes. I bought this for a recent flight and will never again travel without it! The pain relief was incredible and made my flight so much more bearable.
