Does this also work wirelessly with pc I play a lot of my Xbox games on pc

Unfortunately this will not work with PC as it is designed to only work with XBOX consoles view the 3.5mm headset jack for controllers. PCs require you to use 3.5mm for audio, and a separate cable for mic if you're gonna use it wired. Additionally it may require USB as well but that depends on the PC and headset. If you want a wireless headset for PC then you'll have to search for one specifically for that.

I just bought this headset and thought it had mic monitoring, but I can’t hear myself through the mic....so how do I fix this?

To enable Mic Monitoring, press and hold the mute button ( While unmuted ) and you'll hear a tone. Press and hold again to turn off. The chat/game volume on headset overrides the chat settings on Xbox.

Is this 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound?

for most intents and purposes surround sound through gaming headsets is done at the software level in games or through the OS very few if any headsets have more than one driver(aka speaker) per ear cup

5.1 or 7.1 refers to the amount of speakers/subs connected. For example 5.1 means a center front speaker, front right, front left, rear right, rear left, and a sub. 7.1 just adds two extra speakers usually above or on the sides. Since headsets only have 1 speaker per earcup (most headsets), it can simulate surround based on what the game is capable of.
