FINALLY found something that killed all the green algae in my decorative, cement 2-tier water fountain, AND KEEPS IT AWAY! Been using fountain water cleaning solutions for 1-2 years from a national hardware store that kept the fountain water clear for about 1 week, BUT ONLY AFTER I DUMPED ALL THE FOUNTAIN WATER myself, and refilled the fountain with fresh water. Never really solved the problem; green algae. However, Fountain Algaecide and Clarifier does the trick. Dumped all the old water out of the fountain 2 weeks ago, added a capful of this incredible algae-terminator solution, and my fountain water is still running CRYSTAL CLEAR! IT'S AMAZING! Since I just started using this miracle working solution, I'm not sure how long that capful of potent formula will keep the water fountain's water clear. So, I'm going to sit-tight, keep my eyes on my water fountain, and when the water starts to turn green with algae, I'll then know the run-time for a capful of this dynamo solution, dump out the fountain water, and start all over again. (I believe the bottle says add one capful per week, but I'm going to test it and see how long one week's application will last before I have to start over, and begin administering the solution weekly, as the bottle suggests. Ir works extremely well. My birdbath is a solar 2 layer small one, and I just put 2 drops in of the Algaecide, and it keeps the water clear for many days. I used to empty out the fountain ever other day and scrub the green ring out. Now I just tilt to get rid of debris and refill! It's wonderful.

The product worked as detailed in the listing and did not create any residue in the pond. I found that a few treatments were needed to fully get rid of algae. While we don’t have fish, bird actively bath themselves and thankfully, the safety info was correct. If I was to nitpick with anything, when you get a product like this, it would make sense the cap or markings on the side of the bottle would indicate amounts to be used to simplify product usage.
