My toddler is at the stage where he enjoys playing with magnets, he's also going through panda bear phase so I was drawn to this magnetic board set in particular. It's actually a pretty handy kit! One side of the board is a magnetic whiteboard where we can attach magnetic puzzle pieces of animals as well as draw with a whiteboard marker. The other side is a chalkboard and three chalk colors are included for use.My only worry with this set is the number of magnetic pieces included - it's a lot of small parts and it's quite easy for my son to misplace, lose, or drop the magnetic puzzle pieces. However, I do like that the board of this kit acts like a lid, and we can store everything within the box compartment - it gives you a designated area to keep everything you need right where you need it. We keep other magnetic toys in the box as well so he can explore with more imaginative play. I found that it's a great kit to bring on long car rides, out for meals, and appointments with long wait times. There's so much going on and it keeps my toddler occupied for long periods of time.

Whats goodIts an engaging toy for a baby / toddlerSimple clean designVariety of puzzle piecesWhats notThe white board had a red sticker "remove packaging/plastic before use" so i scratched the surface to find no plastic on it..instead the board now has a permanent scratch on it...very misleading sticker..The toy could be made so much better..the lid and box dont close..they could have used magnets to close it shut for easy storageThe pieces have no info . .like how many pieces are there what can be made ..The edges are sharp and the middle slot doesnt hold the lid sturdily it keeps falling downSo although i liked the concept of the toy they need to improve it.

Bought for Christmas for my 5 year old. Came packaged nicely and just as pictured. He didn’t seem to like it as much as I had expected him to. Putting the animals together isn’t as simple as you would think for a small child. Lots of smaller pieces. I just put it up for him and maybe next year he will be able to play with it a little better.

This is to update my previous review (below) I received an email from them offering to refund or replace the item. This was totally unexpected and appreciated! I was impressed with their willingness to fix the problem, and am grateful a new toy is on its way. Definitely deserves a 5 star now, as it is an awesome toy!Thanks!Bought this for our granddaughter. It was a hit! The only complaint I have is that the dry erase marker included stains the white board. The marks fade a bit when a white board cleaner is used...but never completely clean off. Wish I could get just the reversible board replaced. I'd give the product 5 stars if it wasn't for this one problem.

I did not care much for this item. First of all, the comment said "Made in England" but when it arrived, it clearly said made in China. Secondly, the magnets are cartoonish and not very realistic, so learning animals is not very accurate. Besides, the couple circles, the other shapes are irregular, so cannot really learn shapes! I would not order this or recommend this item to anyone, and if it was not opened I would definitely return it. Plus, 100 pieces for a 3 year old, not recommended, very messy and fidgety.

My lil grandgirls loved this as a Christmas gift. She has so many options to use this . And it Is so very interchangeable. She plays with the chalkboard then flips it over for the magic of dry erase markers, then another fiip and she has magnets to arrange. Chalk is included as well as an eraser, animal magnets, dry marker, among other items. Very good to instill imagination and learning skills.

My kids love these. Age three to seven and all three have played with them several hours a day. My 6 year old keeps losing the magnets but even so, he can still draw and continue to play with it.
