I've used this type of tire repair for years and do like the T handle much better then the straight.

Good value for a tool that will seldomly be used

I service a lot of small engine equipment and also most of my family's vehicles. I bought these as refills for my tire service kit. These pair well with bead sealer and work great! They hold air well and last! If you need more plugs don't buy from the autoparts store order these instead.

I got a small screw in my tire and brought it to two places, one wanted $40 and the other wanted $20 if they didn’t need to remove the tire So I got my tire plugged for $25, tipped the guy $5. When I got home and I figured I’ll try plugging it myself on my next flat. I saw this tire plug repair kit for $32 with great reviews so I ordered it and got it overnight. TG I did. Three day later, I got a screw on the opposite front tire. I always carry a portable air pump and pumped up the tire and drove home. I whipped out the kit. It was easy to do. It came with instructions. The only thing I didn’t like was it came with lubricant gel instead of rubber cement. I had my own rubber cement and use it instead of the lube. The two T handle rasp tools are made of thick hard aluminum and that’s the main reason I chose this kit. It does take a lot of muscle to shove the plug into the hole and the T handle rasp tools held up. The T rasp handle tools didn’t crack like other kits I read about. It’s been one day and no air leaks so far. I will update if it fails but so far so good. And the best part is it’s made of hard aluminum and the long rasp needles does not come loose.

The product is very user friendly

I especially like the handles and also the completeness of the kit. I've already used it to plug a couple of tires. However the quality is just mediocre at best. I would like a like kind kit at higher quality and would pay for the higher quality. I don't know if such a thing is available except at perhaps a very much higher price, like in the hundreds of dollars. Everyone needs a plug kit and a pump in their car unless they never travel far from a tow truck. In my experience I can plug a tire and be on my way long before the tow truck arrives. This kit may be perfectly adequate for many people.

I got a chance to fix my tire, and it has been holding air for months. Simple to use, but might want to use a drill to make the hole.

封入するゴム部分をクリアプラスチックから取り外すには密着していてラジオペンチが必要なほどですが、外せれば手順通りに簡単に修理できます。同梱してあるグリース状の潤滑剤はどう使うのか不明です。釘穴を拡大する際またはリペアゴムを挿入する際に使えば密閉性を阻害するとしか考えられません。ですから使っていません。このゴム部分には一般的にゴム糊を接着剤として塗布するものですがこのキットには添付されていません。結果的には修理後一定距離を走行すれば空気の微細な漏れは停止して密閉されますが、この点は説明書に記載していただきたいと思います。
