Book Review!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Such an emotional book. The FMC looses her dream job and her best friend attempts to cheer her up by inviting her out. An instant connection leads her to spending the night with the handsome man from the bar but he sneaks out before exchanging names. Surprise surprise, the FMC finds herself pregnant with no job and on the cusp of loosing her apartment. She finds herself moving to the small town to live with her best friend till she can get back on her feet. A chance encounter at the hospital reintroduces the man from the bar but he has demons in his past and isn’t sure he can be there for her more than a co-parent. This beautiful story is a rollercoaster of emotions the MMC is dealing with. The guilt he feels not only about loosing his family but wanting a second chance at a new life is almost enough to drown this couple.

This book reminded me how lucky I've been to find Carrie Elks as an author!!!! Each book in the Angel Sands series is better then the last!Baby I'm Yours is Harper's story. We meet Harper in Just A Kiss as Caitie's best friend from college. Loved Harper from the moment I met her! She's a talented clothes designer and such a positive person. She is the poster child for confidence and looking at the good in things. This book shows us that she had to work to become that. She didn't have a great childhood. Abandoned by a mother more interested in her next relationship and left to a grandmother who expected her to conform to "the ideal". Harper has abandonment issues that she's worked very hard to overcome. I love her!!! After all she's been through she still loves life and shoots for her dreams!James Tanner is an exceptional surgeon and a lonely man. He has suffered an incredible loss, one that would bring anyone to their knees. I don't fault him for secluding himself from being hurt again, but he is also preventing himself from living again too. It's been 3 years since his loss and he still refuses to move on. His friends and family hate seeing him withdraw from life, but he's stubborn. Actually, he suffers from survivors guilt which is a tough thing to overcome. I will say that I had a little harder time liking James. At first, I felt like he was going to do the hurting rather the getting hurt. I didn't want this for Harper! But, as I got to know him, I began to root for him to wake up and accept his second chance.Harper and James had a unique start to their relationship but it worked for them. I don't think it could have worked any other way! Their chemistry was smoking hot, even though they didn't always see it. It was wonderful to see how Harper woke James up and brought him back to life.This book was wonderful, amazing, fantastic, great, etc, etc!!!! I felt like a proud mama watching how well Harper dealt with everything going on in her life! How she overcame so much one step at a time! And it made my heart swell to see James accept his second chance!I higly recommend this book to everyone, and the whole series!!! Can't wait for book 5!!!!

I don’t usually read books like this anymore. I usually read romance books with a lot more spice. But this book was perfect and it didn’t need the spice. Loved the story and am now going to go read the rest of the series. 1/5 for spice level if your interested in knowing that. But 5/5 as a book. Honestly enjoyed this book.

Baby I'm Yours by Carrie Elks, book five in her Angel Sands series is a wonderful story; one I could not put down. For one night, only one night, Harper and James let down their hair and forget all of their troubles; no real names, just one-night. At least until Harper discovers there’s a consequence from veering off her determined path. Having lost her job and about to lose her apartment, she decides to move in with her best friend in Angel Sands. Harper has no idea of the guy’s real name, what he does, or where he lives. Three years ago James lost his world; his wife and one-year old son to a car accident. Grief has overtaken him and guides him. It takes time before James realizes how much Harper has changed his life; his world. Harper learned at a young age that there are always consequences when someone helps. This woman, who appears strong and put together on the outside, is very unsure of herself. It will take time and the right words before Harper believes in James, his fee;ings, his trust, his love. I highly recommend Baby I'm Yours You to other readers and look forward to the reading other books in this series.

Delightful love story. I totally enjoyed this book. Great romance with drama, heartbreak but a happy ever after ending. This series of books just captures your attention and wants you to continue to read!

Such a beautiful book. I felt for both MCs. The romance is great and there’s just enough spice to keep you in your toes.

This book was so sweet! I had a hard time putting it down!! I will say if you are experiencing infertility or loss a child recently this book will hit close to home. The proposal was everything!

So far this one has been one of my faves of this series…. I loved watching them both heal and grow individually and as a couple. They both had devastating things happen to them in the past , that was holding them back.. but they worked hard and overcame it all.

Doctor meets dressmaker in this sweet and endearing romance. The dressmaker is down on her luck. The doctor wallowing in grief. A chance encounter and hey presto you have the beginning of a little drama and romance.Characters and dialogue are good and the storyline is simple and easy to follow.No surprises in this story and it reads like a tv movie.For me I think it needed some humor just to inject some more life into it. They were like the most sweet people ever, all nice and wholesome.It was ok, worth a look if you just want to escape into a sweet romance.

I really loved this book. I haven't read many Carrie Elks books and I don't know why? I'm sure to start reading more though, starting with the rest of this series. 5 star book.

The plot was ok and you can read this as a stand-alon , however the execution left much to be desired in my opinion.

I loved Harper and James' story and found it quite emotional in parts. I love this series of books, even though I have come to them quite late. This was a lovely read and once again I felt like I was actually a resident of Angel Sands.

Kept me wanting to read and see what happened. Read all of this series to this book and downloading the rest of the books in the series bow
