Started sewing in my teens and made my own bias tape the hard way for years. Thank goodness for technology! If it weren't for instagram and youtube I may have never known this lifesaver existed. Big Teddy branded package of bias tape maker tools was priced lower than major brands but I can't imagine a larger brand making the experience any easier. Sturdy packaging, nice weight to the little tools. I watched a video on youtube, prepped my fat quarter to size and next thing I knew... almost 5 yards of cute bias tape! I angle cut the insert end and it was simple to feed. I ironed the result of the maker as I pulled the tape from maker and I'm not looking back. I may never buy store bias tape again. I def won't make it the old fashioned way ever again for sure. I'm not a paid review either. Just a new convert!

The #25 tape maker does not work. This was very frustrating because naturally it was the first one I used & needed for my project. After about an hour of testing different fabrics & thinking I’m crazy I gave up & tester the others. They worked like a charm. There is a problem with my #25 tape maker & id like a replacement. I will update my review when that is resolved.

This kit is absolutely perfect! It comes with everything one needs to make their own bias tape, with clearly marked sizes on each of the makers and the foot is universal so it fits on almost any model sewing machine. It also comes in a handy little case that fits perfect into your sewing bag and keeps everything safe and secure!!!! Best Purchase EVER! Dont hesitate, just buy it! You wont regret it!

(03-01-2018)Everything arrived in great condition. Good instructions on how to use the bias tape makers. Could have used instructions on how to join bias strips to make longer bias tape and on how to use the bias binding foot, but I found instruction within a few minutes on the internet. I have a Singer Heritage and the foot fits, you just have to put it place by hand as it will not snap-on by lowering the pressure foot shaft.(05-18-2018)I just used the bias tape maker today and found it quite easy to use, after a frustrating first minute, I got the hang of it and made the strips from straight cut fabric instead of bias cut since I wasn't turning any corners, worked like a charm.

Makes making bias tape much easier.Remember that the size on the products are for single fold. So if you want double fold you have to use the one twice as big as what you want the finish sized double sized bias tape. I.E. if you want 1/4" double fold, use the 1/2" tool. Then press it in half after using tool.

Love this kit. It was very easy to use and made beautiful bias tape for my quilt. Made about 300 inches in under an hour! Only disappointment is that the largest size double fold bias tape it can make is 1/2 inch. This is the smallest size double fold bias tape I would use. Will neeed to see if they make them bigger.

I love to sew, and right now I was in need of bias tape makers. I priced them separately and they were pricey. Then I found this combination. I needed every thing in this box!!! The price was ridiculously low, I thought it was a type-o. But it wasn't!! Everything was real and well made. I even needed the snap on bias tape maker foot for my sewing machine. I didn't have one, and had sewn things the hard way. Now I'm all set. I love this box combination. I highly recommend this seller. The package arrived on time, and was well packaged.The tape makers are standard and work as expected.The snap on connection is looser than it should be.The opening of the foot, where the needle inserts is too small and had metal flange, due to poor manufacturing.The rolling adjusters are effective, but do not have any washers to stabilize when tightened.With the pandemic, I've had a heck of at time finding a bias foot. I'm not returning this, because I was able to use a mini metal file to correct the major errors, and have a very small washer to help set the screw, without damaging the plastic during tightening.I would not recommend this foot to others. Giving two stars for the set of tape makers and functional awl.

Took a bit of getting used to but now works a treat

I may change the star rating after I try these. I've never used a bias tape maker before and INSTRUCTIONS included would have been great. I'm annoyed that I have to Google/YouTube it!** I changed my rating from 3 stars to 1. I've now tried these (repeatedly!) and they're junk. I spent more time trying to get creases I didn't want out of the fabric. It ended up being faster to just make bias tape by hand, like I had been doing. Don't waste your money or perhaps buy a known brand. I wasn't paying enough attention when I purchased these. Never heard of Big Teddy before. Won't buy from again.

Love these! Saw them on a video and had to have them. So easy to use and now you can make binding very fast with ANY fabric you want instead of the same boring solid colours. Love the little awl tool which helps feed the fabric inside the bias maker. I would recommend getting the larger sizes as I mostly use the 1inch. Neat little holder too! Highly recommend!

Tool works great of you need to make lots of continuous bias binding. I hate making bias binding but this tool makes it mostly bearable.

I've used two of the four sizes of these, the awl tool is super handy and the bias binding foot is a great inclusion. The pins it came with are not really great quality, but for the low price of the set it's not really a big deal.
