Michael, Good morning. Here are the instructions on how to use our hat sizer's. Instructions: Peel off the backing from the sizer. Stick to the front section of the hat's sweatband or whatever area the hat has a loose fit (front, back or sides). Discard the used strip when soiled and replace. Approx. 10" Length 1 1/4" Width Made of: 100% Terry Cloth 2-Pack of Terry Cloth Sizers I hope this helps! Michelle

2 liners that are 10” long each (I assume, I didn’t measure them.)

Thank you for your inquiry. Both techiniques are correct. My personal preference is to place the sizer under the sweatband, and not expose the adhesive on the back of the sizer.
