American Standard070900-2080A Bathtub, 1 Count (Pack of 1), White Heat

We ordered 2 different colors. One matched better than the other. I tried to return the other one but no dice. It can not be returned for some reason.The product itself worked fine.

Takes 24hrs to dry yet said wet sand did this n some of the stuff came off after dried so I wouldn't recommend it yet I didnt sand it either but look good anyway small areas!!

The product worked as advertised, so I have no beef with that. However, I'm disappointed that "American Standard White" does not actually match an American Standard enamel sink. Fortunately, my successful repair is not in a visible location so no harm done. If we end up with a chip in a visible location, it would be a different concern. So, just be aware that this is not an automatic match with American Standard brand white products. Otherwise, works as promised.

Excellent quality.

The tub in our very old house had several large chips in the enamel and this product totally erased them. Absolutely transformed the tub.

It worked great and lasted

Plumber's left a quarter sized chip on the front corner of our newly installed Americast soaking tub. When the wall tile is installed it might have been covered but I was concerned and wanted it sealed so the underlying metal wouldn't corrode. Put on many coats of touch up paint, letting each dry thoroughly before the next to bring chip area slightly above the surrounding original finish. Touch-up paint was a little thicker than desired, had trouble getting a small amount on the supplied brush, too much paint on a coat would run down the face of the chip. Other work was done on the bathroom refurbishment during this buildup time so the painting was interrupted for a couple days. Took about 4 days to get the desired build up. I then used 400 grit wet sandpaper to bring it to the matching level, and followed with 3000 grit wet to polish. My wife is very attentive to detail and could not find the repair. I didn't think the color was quite right at first but it must have been the dark underlayment showing through, I can find the repair, but it is almost invisible.

Goes on easy. Quick drying. Need to sand between coats. Used Q tip to apply.
