GatorCases Traditonal Series Hard-Shell Wood Case for Extreme-Shape Electric Guitar Bodies, Fits Flying V, Explorer, Warlock, and More, up to 47.5" in Length (GWE-EXTREME)

Was looking for a hard case for my fender Stratocaster but wasn’t looking to spend a ton of money.. I saw this one and the price was in the ballpark of what i was looking to spend.. so I gave it a try.. it’s put together pretty well. Inside it holds my strat in place securely. And it feels well made.

My son wanted a Dime Bag Darrel Razor Back guitar. It is an odd, shaped beast and it was difficult to find a case that fit it. This case did. The major complaint I have is that the handle is offset such that the case is constantly tipping to one end. It makes it hard to carry with constantly banging the case on the ground. This has resulted in one corner being dinged up pretty good. Having said that it is the case that is dinged up not the guitar inside. It is a good buy.

This is a great case. Fits my Lea Paul perfectly. Very sturdy and looks great. Compares favorably to my high end guitar cases. Very please with this purchase.

After dealing with a few cheap cases, that don't line up, and even worse smell like glue when you get them (and stay that way, then your guitar smells like glue), I have gone to Gator cases. They're very reasonably priced and they are just the best fit and finish, padding, no smell, and the guitars just fit great. They are the best in my opinion. I have probably 5 or 6 Gator cases and they are all great - no issues.

These cases are very good, sturdy, good looking, and protect my precious guitars very well. I bought one of them and immediately bought two more. Would buy it again obviously.

Been using Gator for many decades due to the durability of the products they make.

I did a review of another Gator case earlier today. Honestly, these are the best cases. They are sturdy, very reasonably priced, nicely padded, and best of all - they don't smell like glue like the cheaper cases. These cases are professional looking and sturdy. I won't buy anything but a Gator case for my guitars. I put a tele in this one and it fits great.

This was a warehouse item, but besides what was listed as cosmetic blemishes, on arrival the wood had split and was in worse conditions.Assuming this was brand new, the quality of these and similar gator cases at this price point has deterioratedThe screws were loose and everything just felt poorly constructed.Also, after trying my Firebird, Flying V and explorer in this case, body space wise no fit issues, but the case is very thin and to close had to apply considerable pressure which would add strain to the neck rathe then protect it.I would suggest if you have a non standard shape, look at the extreme multi fit case.It’s generally slightly cheaper and the quality actually feels better.

Can't even survive delivery, in one piece. So, has no chance of protecting your or my bass, from damage.This wasn't bad luck, as the replacement case sent was also damaged. I've now requested a refund.Don't buy, you're just giving yourself a whole lot of heartache.

Bought as a Christmas present for my son for his epiphone casino. Unfortunately when he unwrapped it Christmas Day although packed well the lock and lock latch were damaged and falling apart. A bit disappointing and poor quality control but my son didn’t want go through all the bother of returning it and getting another one so he’s decided to use it as it is and see if he can get it repaired locally later on. Who locks a guitar case anyway?

Came with a small dink in the case. Not surr how this happened as the packaging seemed pretty good. Not too fussed about minor damage as its a good sturdy case in all for the money. Fits my Ibanez hollow vody very snug. Good service and fast delivery.

Much better than expected. Very light weight, but offers adequate protection. And at this price point is very good.
