So I wanted to see how detailed a job these could do painting a mini. The answer is not great. There are several areas the pens won't reach so you're forced to pump paint out and while this method woks it is going to lead to paint in areas you don't want it and additional touch ups. If you're painting a larger or less detailed mini these still may be a viable option. The color options and paint flow was great. My second project was a diy case for my dominion cards and it did really well for this too. In fact I got better coverage with this than I did using my acrylic paints to make a similar one for Marvel Champions. There can be issues with splatter if the tip catches so keep a damp rag on hand to fix any mistakes. I also bought Niutop brand paint pens and they were more prone to splatter or outright failure.
