This did a wonderful job holding my bumper up on my car… very sticky on both sides. One side of my bumper came apart, and the shop quoted me all these dollars to repair just one side. This fix was more economical though not professionally done, my bumper is no longer hanging. The tape is black but it’s just a thin strip on the side, the car is a dark color so it don’t stand out too bad. The clips that hold the bumper were broken off and this tape held as good as the clips.

I grabbed this on a sleepy 1 a.m. Amazon scroll to fix some loose trim on my old hatchback. I park outside in Texas heat and run through cheap car washes a lot, so I needed something that would actually stay put. This tape has held up nicely against sun, rain, and those aggressive spinning brushes. Installation is super basic. I just measured, cut a strip with regular scissors, peeled, and pressed it on. No heat gun or fancy tools. The one thing I really pay attention to is alignment. Once I press it down firmly, it locks in and does not want to move, which is exactly what I wanted.

I had bought some cheap window visors for my car and found out that the 1/4" wide molding tape was no match for highway speeds. One visor came loose and was flapping in the wind and another one was missing. I bought a new set to replace those missing. This time I also bought the super-strong 3M molding tape, 1/2" wide, and could tell immediately that this was going to hold the visors in place even through hurricane force winds. You just want to make sure that once you attach it that you won't have to remove it.

This tape is sticky….this tape is tricky…ok, sorry about that I got carried away there. I bought this tape because when replacing the badges on my car to change its look the tape on the badges was not quite thick enough to reach the metal on the car. Added a few strips of this tape all across the back of the badges for uniformity and Wella! The badges adhered wonderfully. This tape delivers. That’s what she said.

Using it for underglow, it is extremely strong even with salt and snowy conditions. As long as the surface is properly prepped I would rely on this.

I purchased this tape to reinstall the top caps on my pickup truck bed rails. It was really easy to work with and really sticks to both surfaces! It's a few more bucks than some of the other brands but in my opinion it's a good value.
