After many years the book was discovered by a group of Babylonian philosophers repairing Solomon's tomb. None could interpret the text, until one of them, Iohé Grevis, suggested that they should ask the Lord for understanding. The Angel of the Lord appeared to him and extracted a promise that he would keep the text hidden from the unworthy and the wicked, after which he was able to read it plainly. Iohé Grevis then placed a spell on the book that the unworthy, the unwise or those who did not fear God would not attain the desired effect from any of the workings contained in the book. The Lesser Key of Solomon, also known as Salomonis Regis or Lemegeton, is an anonymous grimoire on demonology. It was compiled in the mid-17th century, mostly from materials a couple of centuries older. The Testament Of Solomon When a demon named Ornias harasses a young man (who is favored by Solomon) by stealing half of his pay and sucking out his vitality through the thumb on his right hand, Solomon prays in the temple and receives from the archangel Michael a ring with the seal of God (in the shape of a Pentagram) on it which will enable him to command the demons. Solomon lends the ring to the lad who, by throwing the ring at the demon Ornias, stamps him with the seal and brings him under control. Then Solomon orders the demon Ornias to take the ring and similarly imprint the prince of demons, Beelzebul. Review: 10/10 - This one surprised me. Got into the topic, half expecting this to be more of an oddity to try and read correctly. But the way the book is put together, in order. Vary well done with illustrations and all. Vary good for collection and read. Review: Great Book! - This is the first book I have ever read in any regards to demonology! I was just curious and wanted some more legendary and realistic information to go off of and I thought what better to start with than the book containing all of the demons King Solomon encountered himself? Oddly enough I am not religious so I was a little skeptical but having always been a very spiritual person and having encountered energies of all types in my short life span I have yet to come across a book that scares me as much as this one does! Since I ordered the book online I have seen an abundance of cats and toads, and odd demon king symbols in things from around my home town to pictures on my instagram feed, and as I have been reading the book I have come to the realization that King BAEL has been possibly lurking around in the shadows of my life. It spooked me and I haven't been able to pick up the book since then. I'm hoping ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #36,853 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) #13 in Out-of-Body Experiences (Books) #29 in Magic Studies (Books) | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 3,637 Reviews | ## Images ![The Magical Books Of Solomon: The Greater and Lesser Keys & The Testament of Solomon - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71wJn0aMxCS.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Media Format** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 *by M***S on May 5, 2026* This one surprised me.
