Excellent KVM Switch
I needed to use one HD monitor and Amp to connect 3 PC's for General use/Gaming/Music server. This switch was perfect, connect with 4k HDMI to the monitor, HDMI to the other PC's and USB3 to the Pc's for the Audio out to the Amp, cables everywhere but easy to set up, just had to re-set two PC's that didn't recognise to output sound via the USB leads, soon fixed and works very well.A very reasonably priced KVM well worth the money.

The perfect HDMI KVM I have been searching for ...
I have tried many KVM before and most of them are disappointing. The ezcoo 4x1 is the one to buy, no question. Straight out of the box it just works. It supports all the graphics cards I've tried so far. I now have two. Don't be tempted to save by buying the 2x1 which uses a different chipset - even if you don't need 4 ports the 4x1 is better. Most important is the support. I contacted the web chat and had excellent advice.Highly recommended. Not the cheapest but good value for money. Arrived next day from Amazon.

Small and reliable KVM
This is tiny compared to the KVM it replaced, so desk space should not be an issue. The switching of video works well, as does the switching of USB devices. Overall, it is a great device. Two things to be aware of:1) I use wireless Logitech devices for my keyboard and mouse. From time to time, the mouse works on a go slow. It isn't often, but it can be a pain if mid-meeting, for example. Switching the mouse off and back on a few seconds later seems to help. I understand that wired is preferable, but it should be a flawless operation with so many keyboards and mice now wireless.2) The single USB 3.0 output is on the front. It would be wonderful if it were on the back. I've added larger rubber feet so I can route the cable underneath the KVM.

Not fit for purpose
It was well packaged, and a very neat unit (I got the 4 computer version if there are others). The remote control worked great with the IR extension. The picture quality was great, as was the audio when I eventually found the correct HDMI audio device to which to route the audio (this had to be redone each time I switched to that machine). Unfortunately, that's all the good news. If you just use this with one computer and have HDMI audio working (some recent Linux distros have problems with this), then it's great. However, once you switch to a different computer, display hell breaks loose on the machine you've just switched away from. I'm using several Linux machines (Mint 19.3 and 20.3 mainly), but just used two computers to test this. One of the computers has two outputs: HDMI and DisplayPort. The HDMI out goes to this KVM and then to one of the two monitors. The other computer just has HDMI out and was connected to this KVM. Switching from one input to the other caused the dual-headed machine to go nuts each time, and it took a lot of fiddling to sort out the displays again (it's a laptop, so technically 3 displays, even though I'm not using the laptop screen). But after about the third switchover, it refused to display the single-headed computer at all. My input was being sent to it (opening the laptop lid, I could see the mouse cursor moving) but nothing was being sent to the monitor. I might as well have been unplugging the cables for all the hassle it caused. Absolutely not worth it. Returned.

A nice neat little desktop unit.
I bought this to replace a cheaper unit I had. This is a great little KVM. It doesn't miss a beat when I play games through it (which the cheaper one did). I'm running 2560 x 1440 @ 144Hz through it, so I can't comment on higher res or refresh rates. It supports my Razer Basilisk v3 mouse without any issues, I generally use it at 8K-10K dpi, but it still seems to run it at the full 26K.It doesn't disconnect the screen when you switch between inputs. I know this sounds weird, but the previous one did. When I switched inputs on the old one, my MacBook would shift everything back onto it's built in screen. Then when I switched back, I have to re-arrange all the windows again. This one just lets the MacBook think it's still connected, so when I switch back the windows are all where I left them.I thought that the remote control was a bit of a gimmick. Who needs a remote for a unit in easy reach? I've found that I use it all the time to switch inputs. There is no direct switching on the unit itself, it's sequential going 1-2-3-4-1- etc. so switching 2-1 requires 4 presses of the button, but the remote just lets you switch to whichever input you want. The downside of this unit is that it isn't bus powered - you have to plug it in to the mains. It does not come with cables, so you'll have to source your own of the appropriate type and length. This could be seen as a plus, as you only buy the right cables for your setup, so you don't have a number of spare/e-waste cables lying around.
