So I’m a YouTuber (Chow With Lau) and recently a wok manufacturer sent me a product for a sponsored video - a traditional round bottom wok. My gas job doesn’t have a wok ring so it would be very tricky to balance this wok on it whilst cooking. Therefore I needed this cast iron trivet to give my new wok stability and to allow me to toss good items during stir frying. This trivet fitted my hob rack perfectly and is heavy so doesn’t shake or move around whilst cooking. It keeps my heavy wok very stable and secure which is exactly what I need.If you have a round bottom wok or pan this is definitely what you need.Simple but effective.

Very good product of good crome plated steel.much better than the cheaper ones ( that i got a refund for but didn't have to return) nice fit on cooker see photo 1/ photo 2(larger one) came with the cooker (smeg range 6 burner) well worth the money

Quality made , good materials and solid construction. Functionality wise performs very well , cleans up easily. Stability in my case is good enough to saftley use but not perfect. The design of my gas hob means the slots just do not marry up when used against all othe different size burners I have. Still usable and fits my purpose , just cannot use it on all of my cookers hobs.

Did some searching on Amazon, and these looked the most appropriate for my gas hob. They fit just right, and do the job.

Apenas lo he usado un par de veces pero es un producto que al tacto y funcionalidad se ve robusto y resistente. Se adapta muy bien sobre los soportes de la cocina de gas que tengo. Además de poder usarlo para wok, creo que le voy a dar mucho uso también como un elevador para la base de sartenes, cazuelas, paellas, etc. Buen producto y sobre todo creo que bastante funcional.

Supporto in ghisa abbastanza pesante che da la sensazione di robustezza.Perfetto per cucinare una wok con fondo tondo o anche per stabilizzare gli wok "occidentali" (con fondo piano), nel caso in cui la griglia della cucina si sia un po' deformata nel corso degli anni.Dopo qualche settimana di utilizzo continua a mantenere l'aspetto originale, non mi resta quindi che consigliarlo a chi ne avesse bisogno.
