Description

The Sikalastic 850W is a Liquid Waterproofing System forming after curing an adherent, waterproof and flexible membrane. Very elastic, this product allows to bridge cracks and can be quickly covered by a hard surface: glued or sealed tile, screed with plastic or resin coating... Various applications: It is ideal for protecting intermediate floors and partitions from wet rooms. It has excellent adhesion on mortar, concrete, plaster and tiles. To achieve a cracking resistant waterproofing coating, the Sikalastic-850 W must have a minimum thickness of 1 mm after curing, which corresponds to 2.2 kg/m² to be applied in two layers in all areas (floor and wall) to be sealed. The actual amount to be applied depends on the roughness and porosity of the support. Can be recovered quickly by hard protection: glued or sealed tile, screed with coating (plastic floor, resin coating,...). TECHNICAL INFORMATION: Application temperature: + 5°C and +35°C Density: Approximately 1.2 Skin formation time: (non-absorbent substrate): 5°C = 7h/ 20°C = 4h/35°C = 2h Waiting time before protection: Tile glued: 12h to 20°C/Screed or sealed tile: Minimum 24h to 20°C CONSUMPTION: Sealed: 2,2kg/m² Protected: 0,8kg/m² GOOD A KNOW: Kit of 6 kg corresponding to use on 6 m². This product should be applied in 2 layers, using a medium bristle roller, or a rectangular or Flemish straightener. Apply the first layer and, at the singular points, marouflage the Sikarmature frame into the first cool layer. The second layer should be applied to the first hardened layer (12-48 hours waiting).
