Beautiful perfect little jewels
Quality: these come in double-layer thick plastic bags, and among the seven bags we got, I think there were zero defects, broken pieces etc. A great sign these are high quality, and treated with respect by the makers.Accuracy & Beauty: spot on. These are chunky 1” squares, exactly as described. The color & size is consistent throughout the 7 bags we got. There’s a brilliant bit of rainbow sheen on each square, that sparkles in the flames. Gorgeous!Value: these aren’t the cheapest option for firepit glass, so I was expecting they’d be better quality for the higher price, and they are. I’m very happy about the value I got.

Be Careful!
We just purchased this fire glass & added to our new fire table. Within two minutes, we heard this big pop & a piece of glass broke & flew out of the fire pit. It landed under the chair I was sitting in. The piece of glass was extremely hot & could have caused significant injury. As I sit here by this fire, I keep hearing pops & crackles coming from the glass pieces. It makes me very nervous. Our other glass did not do this. EDIT: I contacted the company and they were very helpful with replacing the glass for tempered glass.

Beautiful fire glass
We visited a fireplace store and almost purchased a new fireplace insert. After much research, we decided to take our gas logs out, clean the fireplace, and replace the logs with fire glass. We chose amber reflective cubes. They give off the most beautiful glow and the fireplace looks so attractive with glass. Purchasing from Amazon saved us more than 1/2 what a local fireplace store was going to charge. You can't go wrong with any color, shape, or size.

They melted!
I loved the look mixed with lava rock. I used it one weekend. Putting it away, I noticed my glass rocks have melted. I thought they weren't suppose to melt. I'm really bummed. Now I have to see if I damaged my firepit.

Pretty but high level of heat breakage
Love the look but they crack and break with the heat. We’ve have to survey the fire pit and remove the broken ones each time. Already getting thin in terms of coverage due to the amount of breakage.

They are very pretty in my table fire pit
Exactly what I needed. They are very pretty in my table fire pit. I ordered two 10 lb bags, but it wasn't enough so I ordered two more today. After I put them in the pit I noticed they're dirty, and no the fire doesn't clean them. I took them out, put them in vinegar and water, rinsed off. So much better.

Breaking and degrading
Started using these rocks early this spring. Look great now they are breaking. How do you call these heat resistant. Don’t buy these they are junk!

Made for firepits, yet multiple cubes shatter, apparently due to the heat!!!!
Complete bust! Fire glass cubes made for a firepit, yet within first 2 days easily a 1/4 of the cubes shattered into pieces.....apparently from the heat! Defeats the entire concept of.....fire cubes!!!!!

Outdoor use ONLY! Toxic fumes
I am using this in a propane fire table in a 4-season gazebo (with a ventilated roof). Previously I had ceramic logs in the fire pit and have used it without issues for over 5 years. I thought these glass cubes would give a nicer effect. As soon as I put them in I encountered several issues:* I noticed my eyes started getting extremely irritated and had a terrible burning sensation. There was a strong chemical smell too that was very unpleasant. If I stood so that my head was higher above the table, the fumes would irritate my lungs. I've left them in for over 10 hours with the fire burning, hoping that eventually whatever residue is on them would burn away and leave just harmless glass, but it has not dissipated.* At first I thought they sent me the wrong type of glass, as I had ordered the amber color cubes, but when I opened the bag they were opaque and had a grey color. On closer inspection they were indeed the amber cubes but they were covered in some kind of residue or dust. Whatever the residue is, it might be responsible for the toxic fumes.* Though it was advertised to work in these types of propane firepits, I find that the glass cubes don't leave enough space between them to exhaust the gas consistently, so the flames tend to recede and then flare up suddenly. More annoying than anything else, but I fear it could at some point snuff the flame completely and allow gas to build up.* I could hear some of the glass cubes explode from time to time as others have reported, but not many* I bought two bags, but it wasn't nearly enough to fill the firepit basin, even after I filled most of the space with large stones. I received a free bag of the small blue circular glass beads with my order, which I used to fill the remaining space, but it wasn't really the look I was going for.* Aesthetically, I had hoped to get some refraction from the glass, but the fire tends to float on top and doesn't light up the glass in any way.Overall they look nice and are probably fine for outdoor use in an open space, but the fumes are definitely toxic in an enclosed space (even if it's properly ventilated) and I'll have to remove them. Do NOT use in an indoor fireplace.

Reall improvement
I ordered the square 1'' (2,5cm), perfect size for an outoor LPG fire pite, arrived fast, over the 3 bags, only one piece was broken so no issue on my point of view. About bad feed back about the risk to cut ourself, it's glass so, anyway, should just pay minimal attention.Lightened the fire pit 2 times for a couple of hours, no issue with glass that shatter/exploded or any problems that other report.I let the bottom of my fire pit filled with the original lava stone and just add a layer of those glass pieces on top of it, no issue with lightening the fire pit or gaz distribution. Final tought: go for it without hesitation, look amazing, no regrets at all.

Defective Product.
Not happy! Clearly there is something wrong with this product. They are starting to break after only being used 3 times. Do not buy!

Looks good but we have a safety issue
They look great and we were very happy initially. Unfortunately after a few uses we heard a pop and a shard of glass went flying across the deck. It had happened a few times, enough that someone could have been hit, with many more cracked and broken pieces. The firepit is under a gazebo so water is not the issue.

Déçu
C'est joli avant d'avoir allumé le foyer, les pierres deviennent blanches à cause du feu elles perdent leurs éclats!
